Who would you take out of Mayo Gordon or Bayless?

My personal answers would be Beasley and OJ Mayo slightly over Bayless because of size

Derrick Rose

1. Rose
2. Beasley
3. Bayless
4. Gordon
5. hmmm well

- Mayo is a good tough undersized shooting guard, unfortunately not the tall pg envisioned
- DeAndre seems like an even more talented Curry, major red flags when motor and desire are his main negatives

I guess depending on march madness someone from Mayo-Jordan-Randolph-Hibbert-Westbrook-Augustin-Lopez-Thabeet

Really want a top 4 pick though

Mayo!!! I think alot of people are wrong about this guy. This kid does have point guard skills and can get his own shot when ever he wants it.

Mayo?

I thought his value has declined, and I hadn't seen you all touting him as much of late either.

BRIGGS, I thought you were now big on Lopez, Randolph and Thabeet?

I trust KBY's choice for draft picks as much as anyone else.

I remember when the guy you really wanted the Knicks to draft in 2002 was Amare.

Think about what we would be like if we had drafted him.

Of course, BRIGGS was Mr. Bynum in 2005, who we could have taken, so both of you all have shown a keen eye for talent.

Too bad the Knicks haven't had scouts with the same kind of recommendations.

Maybe Dolan should hire you all..haha

I'm actually curious who folks would take if we get the 3rd pick.

This is assuming whoever goes 1 & 2 take Beasley and Rose.

It would have to be Derrick Rose. We need a PG in the worst way and if Beasley and Rose are 1a and 1b then we should decide on what the team needs. Right now PG is the most glaring weakness.

Beasley. We shouldn't draft for need. The better question is who will we draft with the 5th pick, because that's probably what we'll wind up getting , and it's the harder question to answer.

BRIGGS, I thought you were now big on Lopez, Randolph and Thabeet?

If we are top 4 i would pick out of Beasley1 Rose 2 Lopez 3 Randolph4

I just wanted to see what others thought on mayo bayless gordon.
This is defintely the most confusing draft in ten+ years after pick 2. It would be very easy to do the draft 1-2---after that I am convinced we should go big to pick 4--after that I could change my mind 50 times over the next 2 months quite honestly I could have a different answer every day--i say big because this team will not be good without getting rid of the curry/randolph quagmire either lopez or the other randolph can play 4 and block shots and both are good 2 ways---we can find a guard easy in the NBA ---- big man MUCH harder--who says JR Smith isnt better than any guard in this draft and he could be had for cheap. You cant find a big man with the upisde of a JR Smith for the same price. You get crp for 5mm$+

Pres Ike-- i will say this about Thabeet. Thabeet is a safe pick for the Knicks in this fashion. Number 1 he will get huge endorsements from coach calhoun[who doesnt say a guy is good if he is not] rick pitino and jim boehim. He is 7-3 265 pound pure athletic C--truly the only pure 1 in the draft. He is larger than life up close and will be a sure fire hit with fans who are looking for a direction with the team. He will NOT be under fire to be fully ready to produce NOW while he can HELP now--very similar to Bynum. He will get 0 negative press--he's very smart he's a hardworker with very high character. He's from the tri state area[uconn] and has a HUGE following in Africa. So if he is picked no one will be booing and there will be some gidiness and anticipation from fans and a+ from the media--there will be no backlash and much less expectations than many other players from pick 5-8.

If you guys have not seen Beasley, please get to a TV screen. This guy has been pheonomenal the past few weeks. To me he is having every bit as good a season as Durant had last year, probably better cause he shoot 54%. This kid scores in every way- he can step out and hit the college 3. He is basically unguardable and is dropping 30 automatically these days with double digit rebounds every night.

I don't disagree with any of that. What does jump out at me though is that his team keeps on losing. It's pretty rare that when there is a NCAA player as good and talented, and puts up the kind of numbers that Beasely puts up, that the players team actually loses. Makes me wonder. I'm not saying he's a bad teammate or anything, I'm just saying.. makes you wonder.

T.Hansbough

Seems like people are sleeping on him...If the Knicks draft Hansbough they can trade D.Lee for another pick.

I have the one answer: J.J. Redick.

We might actually get bumped to 6- depending on whether a team behind us gets lucky.

Go Big Or Go Home

nyk4ever - yes

Jordan has the type of agility, mobility and hostility the Knicks have missed since the days of Marcus Camby

what, are you thinking about going against the grain and going big?

Well, if I had to choose between the 2, I'd take Thabeet, only because I've seen him just dominate games defensively and I've seen his offense really come on since last year. I think he's improving exponentially.

I'd still rather Derrick Rose over any of them though.
