He is playing for our summer league team. He is 7-2 and a supreme shot blocker. Had a couple very decent seasons at Providence. We should look at him as a possible 11th or 12th man.

Hmmm...never heard of him. Providence, eh? So he's played Big East ball. has he ever started for the Friars? Any stats on him, Fordy? One thing though, you can't teach size, that's for sure.

We have some really decent players on our summer league team. I'd say Nesby is arguably more talented than Shandon Anderson-- and is good enough to start on a some teams (he could be starting SG on the Nuggets or Minnesota, imho). I read up on N'diaye. Good physical talent, but he just doesn't have any game. :)

Amal McCaskill is a pretty decent player--- I think he's bounced around the NBA a little bit. I think he's a decent big-body, though at his listed weight he doesn't seem big enough to bang too much.

At 7'2" 230, I remember him vaguely as a high school player in the area. I guess while you can't teach height, you also can't teach coordination either.

In spite of it all, the Knicks will be seriously lacking in roster spots if we get Lampe and Vranes on the team--- if they can't get signed, then maybe one or two of these summer league guys can earn spots.

Is he strictly a shot blocker or does he have a pretty decent post game? Hey I'm willing to take a chance on him as 12th man. A 7'2 12th man beats a 6'8 12th man any day.
I would love to be the cheese in a Beyonce/Ashanti sandwich.

I'm liking the sound of N'diaye more. He's 7'0, 255lbs and a great shot blocker as well. For toronto this year he put up solid numbers, averaging 5.5 points, 3.7 rebs, and about 1.5 blks in limited minutes. He's young and athletic and could really see some time off the bench in new york next season.

I dont think I've seen the Knicks attempt to look at so many C-PF types in many years. Between Lampe, Vranes, Sweetney and the trees in the summer league, we should come out of it with AT LEAST a decent defensive center.

Hopefully much more...
