The last game I watched was the Golden State game. I haven't even been bothering to see the box score lately. I use to pride myself about seeing atleast some portion of every game but now I feel like Basketball in general is on a down slide for me. I can't even get up for TNT or ESPN games. I can't believe what the Knicks have done they have ruined basketball for me.

I am living in Virginia right now so I haven't seen much - but reading about them has proved I am not missing anything.

I would really like a top 3 draft pick, and if we got the top pick I would be very happy. At this point any win they have hurts us - I know its not right to tank, but honestly what will a win prove? They already showed they have no heart.

I use to feel the same way with Layden teams when they would try and make the playoffs and fall short I would be plaeading for losses and folk on the board use to critisize that I wasn't a fan. But I want losses I know the bright side of the NBA and tanking is a big part of getting back in the right direction.

Tanking is a big part of turning around a team -when a oonce in a decade player comes along - like Tim Duncan or Le Bron or David Robinson. But - I don't think there are any of thse players in this coming draft- orrSeattle/Memphis and Charlotte would all be racing to the bottom.

There was no doubt that Duncan and Le Bron were sure things - which is why Cleveland and San Antonio went out of their way to lost almost every game - and made sure they beat out other teams for the draft pick. Plus both their teams were on the verge of losing their fan base as well as any publicly financed dollars if they kept going in the same direction.

But really most of the time - its a crap shoot-
For example :
Pervis Ellison, Larry Johnson, Chris Webber, Glen Robinson, Michael Olawakandi, Derrick Coleman, Kenyon Martin, Joe Smith, Kwame Brown Bargnani were all number one picks - but none fo these guys changed a team into a contender liek Duncan or Le Bron. Not even Iverson, or Larry Johnson.

Recently - I would have to say only Yao Ming, Elton brand, Iverson and Dwight Howard -evolved in to franchise players- the rest - no waay .

LOL could you please do the same synopsis for Picks 2-5 and list all the franchise talent that's emerged. This isn't about having 100% assurance to get the #1 pick. It's about having a chance at the best pick possible.

I am going to become a simple basketball fan if Isiah is slated to return for next year. I will just watch random teams. I wont even attempt to watch the Knicks or care for them. If I see any new about them in the paper or on TV, I will ignore it or change the channel. I am reaching that level where there is nothing left to do but not care. We've all complained, we've all had our fair share of arguments. Nothing is going to happen. Another 33-win season and talk like "I like where we're headed" from Isiah will make up this season and the ones to come. There is no point to supporting a team that can give 2 ****s about the only people it should care about - its fans.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I have forgotten when I saw a full game. I once in awhile flip to watch some action but not even Clydes musings can get me to watch.

I don't think I've watched a full knick game this year at all. After awhile it's just like, what's the point? I've occasionally flipped the end of a game on (to check my gamepicker really) but it's been so long since I actually cared about the game. Now, watching a game like suns/lakers or suns/celtics, completely different.

What I would give to watch a meaningfull, even exciting, knick game. Ugh

Is this a Knicks forum?
I've watched over 90% of the Knicks games this season.
Might've missed 2-3 games tops.

Who else is with me?

I watch every game every year no matter what--maybe 10% taped. I watch all pre-season all summer league--I just won't pay for the tickets anymore. I bring my kids to a couple of Uconn games and give away the rest of my tickets to the student pool. I would like to get my son a signed David Lee jersey somehow so at some point I'm going to have to go to a game and see if I can get it done.

Out of those guys you mentioned--I mean the guys you have not--or who even have lived or not lived up to expectations of helping turn around a team---has any of them in their first year had any similar success to Michael Beasley? Have you watched Michael Beasley more than once?

Last game I watched was against Sacto w/o Martin, Crazy Ron-Ron, Bibby and Shareef. That was pretty much the last straw.

Same here.

I have no interest in basketball in general. This is a big deal considering I probably didn't miss a game from 1993-2005.

I saw some of the Philly game and was struck just how bad it was.

I used to watch when I was in Gamepicker but found myself rooting for them to lose if thats how I had the game picked.

That is no fun.

The stoic Isiah is really just too much for me to watch these days.

After games like that (and all of the blowouts), I'm actually amazed this team isn't vying for the worst overall record in the league.
