Knicks, Bucks Talked Marbury Earlier In Season

As New York and Milwaukee continue to try to hammer out a deal involving Zach Randolph, Frank Isola of the New York Daily News reports that it is not the first time the two teams have talked trade this season.

According to Isola, the teams have tried to orchestrate several trades this season, including one that would have featured Stephon Marbury. [READ]

No, it wouldn't have been nice. Trading Stephon Marbury's expiring contract next season for Milwaukee scrubs with long term contracts is stupid.

most likely it was the Knicks who were trying to pawn Marbury off on the next sucker who would take his contract off our hands but to no avail... that's probably as far as those discussions went.
