Executive: I Can't Believe Isiah Is Still There

The New York Daily News -

One league executive is surprised that Isiah Thomas hasn't been fired by Knicks' Chairman James Dolan yet this season, according to the New York Daily News.

The unnamed executive said, "I heard three times this year that Isiah was getting fired, but nothing happened so I don’t know what to expect. I just can’t believe he’s still there."
"OMG - did we just go on a two-trade-wining-streak?" -SupremeCommander

I know it doesn't mean a WHOLE lot, but atleast (if you believe this exec) Dolan has atleast entertained the thought a few times this year. This makes me feel like Isiah will be gone before the draft and that Dolan is just trying to get as much out of Isiah before he eventually fires him. Stupid? Yes. But Dolans tainted thinking is probably "I'm paying this guy a ton of money and if I fire him, he gets it anyway"

I suspect this Exect doesn't know any more than we do. My guess is that he has been getting his info from the same place we have been getting ours. NY back pages.

Questioning Isiah is very uncalled for. Isiah is the greatest GM in the history of life. So it brings me to ask this...

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.
