Just finished watching Texas vs A&M and you can see poise this floor general exudes. Texas was up by 25 point and on every possession he was milking the clock and either made the awesome pass for the assist or driving to the rim. Awesome little dude 27 and 9

Undersized guard, right? Sounds like a prime candidate for Isiah to reach on with a high lottery pick.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

DJ Augustin is really good though but his height of a rumored generous 5'11" is a tad problematic

If D.J. Augustin was 2 or 3 inches taller, I would take him hands down. He's everything you want in a true PG. His size scares me though. I know there have been really short PG's in the past. Chris Paul is 6 feet and probably the best young PG in the league. But is Augustin strong and athletic enough? BIGGS, what are your thoughts on him?

even Chris Paul- I have to wonder if his frame/body will be able to last with the ware and tear of the NBA.

I have similar concerns. Athletic undersized PGs seem to peak earlier than other NBA players.

I would take a chance on DJ Augustin with the 15-20 pick. Remember, he plays at Texas, which is where TJ Ford also played. Taking a guy that small is an obvious risk, but he can distribute for sure. I like guys who can do one thing very well to have a decent NBA career. Realistically, he has the chance to play 20-25 minutes a night.
