I think we should pick him up. I think he hasnt been given a solid chance. He's very good shot blocker and he has nice upside imho. Sometimes it takes bigger players longer to develop--we need a shot blocker--we have a roster spot--he's cheap===so why don't we give him a run until the end of the year.

i would love to sign him. we don't actually have a roster spot - marbury is still on our 15 man roster. of course, if zeke could admit a mistake we could waive jerome james.

Lets do it! I've been talking about this kid ever since Zeke invited Elton Brown (who actually is playing in the D-league all-star game so I guess he's not that bad) and Kenny Adeleke to summer league camp instead of him 2 yrs. ago. Shit, I was thinking about drafting him with the Mardy Collins pick.

The thing for me is, if he ever came here and played well we might be able to trade Lee for something decent. Then we're on our way...

I would've signed this kid as soon as he was waived....

Would love to see us pick up Williams....but its not happening. Just dont see Dolan allowing Isiah to cut James with 3 yrs still on his deal. If anything, we could cut Jones but I dont see that happening either.

Just annoys the hell out of me how some guys get shafted in the nba. The guys played 3 games straight out of nowhere. He played ok. He's a role player but a role player that would be nice BEhiND David Lee.....especially if Isiah can trade Zach.

Hey, I'm all for picking up young kids.... but it makes no sense unless we're going to tear down the roster.

I guess he can play some back up C since we dont have one and they are taking Curry out after 5 minutes. There are a few things we can do--buyout Fred Jones release Mardy Collins etc... what's the difference what is Fred Jones going to do for us in the last 30 games?

Just cut Randolph Morris. He never plays anyway. The fact that no one brought him up just goes to show you that no one remembers he's even on the roster. It won't happen though. I do think some team will give him a look.

pretty much... we need to unload Curry & Zach & then maybe kids like Williams & Morris might have a shot to get some playing time.

This is the whole reason why the NBA needs a real minor league system, instead of that sorry excuse called the NBDL.

I agree, and how much marketing goes into the NBDL I wonder. I watched some of the games and the stadiums are flat out empty. For real, my son and I paused the game and were able to count the people in the stands.. Most whom we suspected were scouts....

a few nba teams have ownership of the associated D-League team and treat it like a farm system. LAL I'm sure of did this and I think San An.

Farmar was back and forth b/n the team and d -league and he has grown phenomenally into his role with the team.
