Right along with the tried-and-true LayDUMB philosophy: keep him until his value drops, THEN trade him. I hope LayDUMB doesn't do his own trading of stocks on the market using Ameriquest or something. He obviously hasn't grasped the 'buy low, sell high' concept.

Chaney's certainty sounds like a deal is going to happen. I wonder if, in all of the talks surrounding the draft, if NY didn't line up some deals that will go through tomorrow or shortly thereafter. Deals with Boston and the Clippers sound likely.
Boston, NY sends KT, Harrington and Knight to Boston for Antione Walker.
Clippers send Odom to NY for Ward (whom they promptly buy out and resign to a very cap friendly deal) and the rights to Sweetney.
NY also sends Spree to Toronto for Antonio Davis straight up.
NY starts Eisley, Houston, Odom, Walker and Davis, with Lampe, Vranes and Anderson coming off the bench. Sounds pretty good to me.

I also read where it said the knicks were intrigued by Odom.... If we could pull that off...

Id love to get Odom but id not want to give up Sweetney nor would i want Walker!
Its sad to admit it but there is no free agent center the knicks could get that id be thrilled about!
Hmm... lets hope for a trade?!?
