My parent's surprised me this morning by dumping a bunch of crap in my apartment that they have been holding in storage for years.

I found lots of retro ****, but the most interesting is an old Basketball card binder. I used to be into basketball cards like crack.

Not sure if any of you are into sports memorabilia or anything but I have some old cards that might be interesting. I want to get rid of these because I don't see myself wanting to have kids.

email (rerikb@optonline.net) me or pm me if you are looking for certain cards, i may have it.

How much to have all the Marbury cards burned?
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Not to barge in your thread, b/c that really isn't my intention, but don't autographs DEVALUE cards, b/c once you put ink or anything on those cards, they are no longer in mint condition, if they once were.

the thing about memorabilia is no matter what the book says it's worth, it's only really worth what someone will pay for it... the fact that it has Starks' autograph on it may be worth more just for the nostalgic value... but for me it would only devalue it, so give me your rockbottom price dawg.

Let me see what the market value of the cards are on one of those trading card sites...and I'll start bidding off at 50% below that.

I just realized how much that starks card meant to me, so i have to take that one off. I was at a Knicks practice hanging in the parking lot w/ soem friends and media guys (back when they had practice in Purchase, NY).

All the players we're leaving for a road trip and most of them seemed to be in a good mood. Starks was the friendliest. Ewing was the biggest jerk. Mason, Ward, and Herb Williams also were cool. Pat Riley was sort of being a jerk to most people, but my dad had Riley's book in his hand and said something like "I really enjoy reading your book Pat". Riley then turned around and apologized and signed the book and took a picture.

Anyone know where to get the value of trading cards? I got a **** load of baseball rookies as well (McGuire, Griffey, Manny, Sosa, ect)

Hey man, I know what you're saying that Starks autograph having personal value to you. I bet it's probably priceless too, and it would probably be the same to me too. However, in terms of the market, ink is ink, and that technically ruins the card.

TMS is right though. Certain autograph buffs would probably love to get a hold of that.
