Like I said in another thread my brother works for the NBA so he flew down to New Orleans on tuesady night with everyone else from his company. So last night i get a call and he tells me he hung out with John Fuckin Starks all night at some bar/restaurant....let me remind you that John Starks is mine and my brothers IDOL... Starks told my brother that he still believes in his heart that if that fight never happened in 97 with Miami they would have beaten the Bulls and won the championship

My brother just called me this morning and told me the story and he said he had tears in his eyes, he also said Houston showed up and was hanging with them too, but not for too long...he said he was talking with Starks for a good 2-3 hours...so i thought i would share this story with you all, not a great story i know but Starks is an idol of ours and my brother said just to see how nice he was and down to earth makes him an even bigger idol of ours...

that's awesome. i think someone on this board said he has hung out with oakley like that too a few times in atlanta or something. i don't feel like a lot of players today would do something like that. a lot of them seem like prima donna jerks.

u can blame Ewing for his missed finger roll vs the Pacers another year too, or the entire Knicks' team for leaving the bench during the brawl in Chicago... it happens... can't take anything away from Starks, he was a true Knick & he loved & took pride wearing that uniform, something i wish we had more of on this team right now.

i honestly believe that riley told Starks to keep shooting but my sons and I dont know why,what and where was Rolando Blackman that nite. I really believe in my heart that riley( notice no cap) for either had a personal thing with him or maybe just damn forgot who Rolando was and his shooting potential!! I believe Rolando either spoke up about something or pissed off riley and thats why he didnt get to play. I shed a tear that nite because that nite was OUR NITE!!!

Riles has admitted in at least one interview that I have read that he wishes he had played RoBlack a little more in that game.

just for syhts and giggles i went to you tube and typed in NYKnicks and saw some of the intros from those great yrs and the one things those Knicks had and these knicks dont have is HEART!!! Its a damn shame!!

he is a traffic coordinator, works mostly with NBATV I think...
