After speaking at the NBA's technology summit, Garden CEO Jim Dolan refused to address the media about the Knicks' current state or about Isiah Thomas. When asked when he will comment, Dolan's only response was, "It's going to be awhile."

It's shocking that an owner would have this little respect for the fans of his team. Why exactly should people care about this team anymore?

I don't really follow the team. I just post here because I like the community. I definitely won't spend any money that goes directly to the Knicks.

I don't think they do anymore. i think the folks who chanted "fire Isiah" were the last of the real fans, but the people who attend now are friends of fans who got their tickets for free from disgusted former fans. That's why those in attendance no longer boo or chant, they simply eat crappy concessions and cheer nifty dunks and crossovers by either team. They are simply there for a cheap thrill, with no vested interest in this ball club.

I don't know about that. I'm sure there are still plenty of people who would love to catch a Knicks game. Out of towners making a rare NY appearance would probably love to see one.

You're right about the fans in general though. I think NY is generally done with the Knicks right now though. The real fans are and finally feel cheated and just don't see the worth. Maybe it will all just crash on Dolan soon.

I mean if people still go, still watch, and vote with their pocketbooks, then why should he make a change?

Lets be real, when layden sucked, the team was not interesting ahd the "garden was dead". This team is worse record wise, but its more interesting???? People still go????

So in a sense, or shall we say "cents", what is really wrong here????

We all know this team is worst in all professional sports. maybe there is some Turkish division 3 team that is more dysfunctional than ours at that level, but there is no franchise in my opinion in the history of american sports that is like ours. Sure Ted Sapiern's cavs sucked, but they didn't spend double the cap (or some sort of mean average)and still suck? The Clips suck, but they were cheap also. The 1973 76ers were the all time worst, but 6 years prior won a championship with wilt and by 1977 they had some nice picks and Dr J!

20 years and no drafted all star!!!!!!!
