Reports from AM radio insist the Knicks WILL be trying to lure in Rasho once again this summer and imagine the idea of this frontline next season:

7-0 SF Lampe
6-8 PF Sweetney
7-1 C Rasho

Hmmm...another body. Rasho is a 11 PPG 7 RPG player. He will have to improve slightly in order to please the NY press. But a starting front court of player who average 6-7 2/3 does not sound that bad considering what started last year.

If they get Rasho, do they begin the Lampe to the 5 spot project after all? Or are they going to give him minutes at the 5 also?

But ultimately, all rests on this question: Will Antonio McDyess play a regular season game in a Knicks uniform? If so, our playoff chances grow exponentally if he does.

I think its best to plan as if McDyess will not play next year, if he does then its just gravy.

that seems like a decent front line and if Dyess comes back (huge if) then it will be an awesome front line.

Okay, suppose Dyess does come back... Who's to say that he doesn't fall down AGAIN??? It would be a cruel joke for him to come back and get re-injured just b4 the playoffs (when we'd need him most)...
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I think if this was the starting frontline next season I would be happy. It might take a while for Lampe to get into the swing of things, but they would eventually gel. Sweetney will have an immediate impact, IMHO.

PG Speedy/Eisley
SG Houston/Anderson
SF Spree/Lampe
PF Sweetney/Weatherspoon
C Nesterovic/Thomas

This line-up might not win a championship, but it will be more fun to watch than last year's mess. With the lack of quality pivot men in the east, Nesterovic could be an All-Star next year.
