For anyone who cares....

Curry Would Welcome Trade Out Of New York?
February 13, 2008 - 5:49 am
New York Daily News -
According to the New York Daily News, Knick center Eddy Curry is not happy with his inconsistent minutes and, according to a close friend, wouldn't mind a change of scenery.

The Daily News writes that with the Lakers and Suns both getting big man upgrades, Dallas may be an option. The Mavericks inquired about Shaquille O'Neal before he was traded to Phoenix.

"I don't think about it," Curry said Tuesday. "Hopefully, it doesn't happen, but if it does I'll just deal with it."

The question is whether he's regressed or, is this it, he's not getting any better?" said the NBA executive. "You have to remember, when Eddy came out of Chicago, he was regarded as someone who did not like to work and who did not like basketball. So do you blame Zach's presence, or do you say, Eddy doesn't have the upside the Knicks thought he had?

And people laughed when I called eddy the " tumbler" Curry , the guy doesn't like basketball you can tell.

He's not trying to get better. A paycheck and "PORK CHOPS" and he's happy
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Curry and I are in agreement, then. I, too, would welcome Curry getting traded... or bought out, or waived.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I am not blaming you. My beef is with these writers. circulating the same BS.. you could write the same article for damn near every knick player at this point. I mean who doesn't want to escape from this mess... At this point, it is irrelevant that curry won't mind leaving. We want his ass gone. I want the writers to come back with something new. Like Isiah getting replaced!!

I wouldn't lose sleep over that if I were you. After all, you know who ultimately makes that decision.

I hear ya man. It's true, every article is pretty much the same nowadays. Dolan has forced that upon the writers though since they hardly get any access and the only thing they can do is write rumors that they here because they have nothing else to write about. It's stupid...

Curry how about you put us all on notice that if....

"IF I SAY UGH is fired then trade me"

Well Curry looks like I SAY UGH's job is safe but you're not wanted anymore and to many of us you were never wanted.

Problem is this is all the writers are gonna get. Little Jimmy, in all his paranoid deluded gradeur, has all but cut the media off from virtually everything (justified or not), so the best we're going to get is hearsay and 3rd hand info at this point from the papers.

So if Isiah does get canned (I reiterate "IF"), 95% odds that it won't get leaked and if it somehow does, Little Jimmy will just delay and deny just b/c he can.

I would trade Eddy Curry for any player with a shorter or equal contract. I just want this fat, disgusting, piece of a garbage off this team.

Curry for Devan Harris????
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

I wouldn't hesitate for a second, but that trade doesn't work financially.

the infamous "unnamed close friend" source rears its ugly head as usual... gotta love how these unscrupulous News people stoop to such levels to try & sell their stories to the public... pathetic.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
