has he been this horrible when he's been in to warrant this few minutes?

I didn't really see him against San Antonio- didn't really see the game tonight?

Is he so bad that he would jeopardize our 24 win season?

He picked up 2 quick fouls against the Spurs so his first start was a forgettable one. I missed the first half of this game.

he's made rookie mistakes and hasn't done anything particularly well. doesn't add up to him getting too many minutes.

here is the problem I see with yanking him after a few mistakes- I think he is going to be pressing, since on our 24 win team, he can't get minutes. We've got Q who can't move or shoot and JJ2 who has an uncanny ability to shoot wide open 3pt bricks playing in front of him.

Think about the message that sends to Chandler- dude, you suck so bad that Q & JJ2 are better than you.

he might make more mistakes, but I suspect if he got comfortable shooting, he would brick it less.

And his athletic ability would allow him to recover from some of his mistakes.

why don't reporters start asking isiah why he took him in the first round? Either he should be in the NBDL getting regular minutes, or he should be out there playing every night 10-15 minutes, regardless of his mistakes.

At this point, we are a 25 win team. We need answers about Chandler & Morris.

Isiah knows if he would have played this kid early in the yr , thathe would be over the rookie jitters and would warrant playing time over JJ AND Q Rich.

They make too much money to have those guys get showed up by a rookie.

Like Channing Frye said in a parting shot while playing in Portland " Is so much better to know you will play based on you performing in practice and not because where you are on the knicks pay roll"

Chan is making mistakes that you make when you haven't seen a lick of any real action all year. It's hard to come into a situation and just feel comfortable against NBA level comp at game speed. He needs a real commitment to him for consistent minutes in order to excel. He's been real jumpy and picking up stupid fouls. He'll adjust if he's given some time to play thru this.

Once he gets a bit more settled, It would be nice to run something for him so he can gain some confidence. Right now he's just out there and no one is looking for him when he's open. So he can't get a feel.

no excuses qbum is just that and jj is no better

Trade-deadline talk

A lot of trade-deadline talk at practice today, with Isiah Thomas still saying he doesn’t expect to do anything that major. Do wonder if rookie Wilson ChandlerWilson Chandler is being showcased? He made his first career start Friday and got some action Saturday in Milwaukee.

The KnicksNew York Knicks like him a lot and is being sold as one of their building blocks. But have a feeling some teams are asking about him, maybe even Chicago, where Chandler played college ball at DePaul.

i think thomas started him because too many guys were injured or sick. Maybe he is trying to not play him until after the deadline because he doesn't want teams asking to have him included in any deals.
