Knicks trade Marbury & Jamal Crawford Miluakee trades Redd & Simmons
Knicks - Redd is an efficient outside shooter for the SG posiiton. Though he is overpaid, NY would be able to pay his tab. Redd is an upgrade over Marbury while Simmons has a shorter contract than Crawford. NY will never look to rebuild so we have to find a way to make starphuching work for us.
Miluakee - They would then buyout Marbury who has 1 yr left on his contract compared to Redds 3 saving them a lot of money. Crawford could slide in at SG for them to field a team of Williams, Crawford, Yi, Bogut, Mason, Charlie V.
If Miller doesn't get traded by the deadline.
NY trades Richardson, Rose, Chandler, Collins, Morris Mem trades Miller & Milicic.
Knicks - They add a skilled, very effiecient perimeter player like Miller. Darko's shotblocking is a needed comodity on this team. He averages 2blks a game in about 24mins.
Memphis - They save salary, Rose has one yr shorter than Milicic, Richardson has the same length as Miller. They add 3 prospects, Wilson Chandler, Mardy Collins, Randolph Morris.
Knicks trade Eddie Curry & Jerred Jefferies Bulls trade Ben Wallace
Knicks Ben Wallace may be old and breaking down, but he would be used as a rotational role player for Milicic & Randolph. Plus we unleod Jefferies contract.
Bulls - they get a low post offensive player to compliment all the defensive players they have acquired. Plus they unload Ben Wallace contract.
Now since we did these moves in the offseason that means we still probably only won 20games on the yr. Which would probably give us a top 5 draft pick. PG would be our biggest need. Rose would be the #1 choice if he comes out. If we couldn't get Rose, then we could try and make a move for Calderon. Giving up our lotto pick for Calderon and other compensation like a future lotto protected pick or something.
Lineup Wallace/Milicic/Randolph Randolph/Lee Miller/Simmons/Balkman Redd/Miller/Simmons (Rose or Calderon)/Nate
