Knick Coach Isiah Thomas took a shot at the team's suffocating media policy on Friday, the New York Daily News is reporting.

In response to comments Nets' President Rod Thorn made concerning their level of interest in Shaquille O'Neal, Thomas said, "I don't know if Rod would say that if he was with the Knicks. I don't know if he would be that free to comment like that."

Speaking of LB, does anyone know what the count is on Starting Lineups used by Isiah so far? It may not be that far away from Larry's. Not to mention the fact that we have to same record after 50 games as Brown.

Anyway if this is an attempt by Isiah to get himself fired so he can take his money and run, then great. Now all Dolan has to do is swallow his pride and pull the trigger. Unfortunately knowing Dolan he wouldn't and would still wait until the end of the season before making a move.

I think Dolan is trying to make the point, through Isiah, that if Larry could have just abided the damn press policy he too could have lost here forever.

So long as Isiah remains a good soldier he can continue his incompetance in perpetuity.

To hell with Chaney, Lenny, Larry, Shandon, Anucha and the fans. So long as Isiah understands you never speak against the family he's a made man.
