...........he waits so damn long to do it.

Isiah inherited Scott Layden's big mess and somehow made a bigger mess. Now there's talk that Isiah won't be coming back next year, but whoever takes over is going to be inheriting once again a huge mess.

We have no future, because there's no foundation. If we get a good' coach and GM (two different people) then it will take them at least another three years to repair the damage that has been done, before they can rebuild. It's not the players that need repairing. It's the contracts that they won't be able to get rid of so easy. Not unless Dolan decides to buy out a few of them in another year or two.

And if they try to get rid of them, they most likely will just end up doing what Isiah did. Trade a bad situation for an equal one, resulting in yet more bad moves, that will continue to seal our fate in dispair. So what to do? Let Isiah stay until his stock goes up a little and then sel, sell, sell?! Just firing him now doesn't really help the situation. But he could' also make an already ugly, ugly situation even worse than what it already is.

He's just bad in any situation.
I'll never trust this' team again.

This mess can be rectified by trading Randolph, Curry, Crawful and Jeffries for players with contracts 2 years and less. Curry and Crawful we should be able to get a deal done. Jeffries a little bit harder to deal. The almost impossible will be moving Randolph. I just can't see any team wanting him and then you throw in his contract, what team will give us contracts 2 years and less? Now if we can move Curry, Crawful and Jeffries for 2 year and less contracts, then it would be ok to trade Randolph for one contract that goes past 2 years, provided it's no more than 10 million on the third year.

The rest of our contracts would be low enough in year 3 that we would have plenty of money to sign Lebron James. And if we have to trade David Lee, Balkman or Nate because signing them to an extension would take away our cap space, then so be it. We'll have 2 additional lottery picks by 2010 and possibly more picks if we're forced to deal Lee, Balkman or Nate. Then we sign Lebron in 2010 and we could possibly be far enough under the cap to sign another good player. (if that player makes sense)

So this situation can be turned around over the next 3 seasons, but it will take patience by Dolan. Hopefully he's learned his lesson. Doubtful, but at least the majority of the fans media won't let him get away with anymore Zach Randolph and Curry trades.
