On the surface Dolan has backed an employee who was found guilty (not personally liable) for sextual harrassment.
Lets forget Layden, Larry, or any other things surrounding the knicks.
What justification can one have to keep him on? Maybe a Bill Belichek can slide, or Popovitch on the basis that he contributes to the community by winning and thus makes it profitable, but thats some real debatable gray areas given that laws were broken.
In this case, the man has cost the company tens of millions in waste by making horrific personel decisions, turned the other way regarding disruptive personel, and where the only tangable evidence exists in the form of wins or losses he has failed miserably.
If Isiah was found guilty of racial discrimination, would he not be fired on the spot? If Anucha was white, would there be louder voices screeming for his head? If Isiah was white whould the black community be screaming louder? Is this "black on black" occurance more acceptable? Did the Rev. Al and Isiah agree that to make a big deal out of it does not help the image of a black man in corp. America and the sooner its fogotten the better? Does allowing him to continue actually worsten the "Cause"?
In plain terms, Dolan to me is the face of the francise and not Isiah. Dolan has allowed sextual harassment to not be cause for termination. Does Isiah's contract not permit his dismissal for such a thing?
And its not like we can just say winning makes the above forgiving! But we should not say that "losing" should be a cause for firing him.
He was found guilty of sextual harassment! Fire him. Better have it done before season tix renewals are a subject because any company doing business with these aszholes have a good point to withold buying tix that MSG "condones" sextual harassment!!!!!
Go ahead MSG moles, print this note and kick it upstairs!
Not a good morning for you...
Dolan already forget who is Isiah and last time was thinking about Knicks last year reading occasional magazine in the man’s room
