Ok I get a hunch after reading today's headlines that if Ward is not traded than Eisley will rot on the bench as the 3rd string PG. This would be ludicrous because I think Eisley is the best PG we have.

First, there is no way, with Van Gundy's rotation, that we are going to consistently play all three of them. Actually, there is no way with ANY coaches rotation that all three of them would play.

Second, JVG's and Layden's "Vote of Confidence" to me is the surest sign that he is sitting on the bench. The guy has meant a lot ot the organization these past few years, and he could be valuable if one of the other two go down. They want Ward to be happy sitting at the end of the pine, so they let everyone know how much they like him. But Jackson will be the starter, and Eisley is too valuable a 3-pt shooter to sit on the bench.
