with the space they can throw max contract at Elton Brand first then Emeka Ok4[i dont think bobcats will give him max] and have choice of gilbert arenas ben gordon luol deng etc.. with another large contract + probably top 3 pick give a lot of time to d Wright and Cook dow the stretch[both have shown signs] this team could do a Celtics quite easily if they get Brand alone[and they could] big 3 brand marion and wade==have cap room for another big time player + top tier pick and better more athletic role players

atleast in terrible season--and hey they just won championship

they are very pro active to put themselves into position of serious hope right away. fans forget easily


what do knicks fan have hope for? eddy curry to lose 25 pounds? isiah to draft micah downs?:) what is next;{((((

i think they should try and use jwill's and ricky's expiring first and see what they can get. what if milwaukee wants out from redd's 70+ mil? or how about rj? or maybe get dre miller for those expirings and 2 picks down the road?

and then i would seriously considering trading that pick on draft night as well.

btw, i thought brand loved LA b/c of his movie producing career.

Why not trade Haslem to a contender. It has been the theme of the 2007-08 season, efficient post players being traded that is (Randolph, Shaq, Marion, Gasol). I can see him being traded to the Spurs for expiring contracts like Brent Barry and Darius Washington.

Sure with cap space you can get a stud who dominates the game and may be even as good as Zach but we already got Zach. What more could you ask for?

why is everyone so much better at this than we are?

the heat will be set to start next season and we'll be schlubs. again. that will be two complete rebuilds and one title for the heat in the time that it's taken Zeke to dig our hole a little deeper.
