The last 2 games were the worst bbal games I ever saw in my life.
These players are in a state in disbelief that nothing is changing and nobody is accountable for anything.
They are just normal people; same as we are.
At the end of Clips game they just stop playing 90 sec to go.
This is capitulation.

Dismantling the team at this point in time is the WORST thing we can do. I really feel this team is just ABOUT to turn the corner.

Zeke is the captain of this ship, and Marbs is his first mate. They aren't going anywhere so you guys had better get used to it, or go become Celtics fans. Maybe you'd be happier that way.

Sure, we've hit some stormy seas. But Cap'n Zeke is just the man who can get 'er back on course.

Cap'n Zeke is talking with the fish and Boston Pirates are ready to take all gold.
But Black Perl crew cannot be dead until the spell is removed...

BJones' crossover ability is uncanny.

But I agree, it will all be better when the dust clears.

When that much dust is kicked up, you start to question whether the dust is permanent.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

It's very dusty, but Isiah has a vacuum cleaner.

Zeke is a maintenance engineer, and the Knicks are a dusty house.

Zeke is gonna suck up the dust of treachery left behind by Larry Brown, and the dust of mediocrity left behind by Scott Layden.

is this sarcasm about this team being ready to turn the corner? I can't tell?

I've held out hope before during Isiah's time here- but now I think its fairly evident that when we're playing our best ball, its largely the rooks & role players out there, and not our stars.

I think we should look to move some of our more attractive pieces right now- I think a good GM could move & get back a nice return on Crawford. I think you might even be able to move jj2 - he has 3 years left, but I could see a team looking for the kind of defensive flexibility he affords. Maybe a team like Dallas that has enough offense.

Why would it be sarcasm. BJOnes is trying to tell you that every team has it's down periods and this just happens to be ours. Isiah is on the right track it's just that many of us fail to see the wisdom of his moves. You just have to give it some time, wait a few years and at that point the dust should be just about ready to start to settle. Then, we can start thinking about starting to think about building a winner.

You would see this if you would just open your eyes and listen to what BJones is saying. I don't always agree with the guy, but in this case I think BJones is being 100% factorial.

Bip and BballJones, I have a question to ask you though. Now I can understand that the dust needs to settle and all and that will take a few years, but what if it leaves behind a smokey mist. How long does that usually take the clear out. I am just speaking theoretically of course.

Please explain the wisdom of adding Marbury.

I think the facts as they have played out here in NYC prove beyond any doubt that despite Marbury's talent, teams are better off without him.

He is now gone, and the team is more competitive. Explain.

With Marbury, we're getting blown out nightly by 20+.

Without him, we're in it till the end.

After you are down there with explaining the wisdom of trading for Marbury, and all the money it cost us and how it produced so little in terms of wins- FACE IT, ANY NBDL POINT GUARD GETTING THE MINIMUM COULD HAVE PRODUCED THE SAME WINS MARBURY DID.

After you are down trying to spin this inconvenient wisdom, move on the explaining how we traded 2 high draft picks for Curry who has regressed this year. And explain the wisdom of how this regression occurred because we added a largely duplicate piece in Zach.

Isiah had 4 years to experiment. We have the results. No further testing is required. His moves are not a path to future success.

This is understandable.
This ship is swimming not in the sea but in the desert... And this is sand storm.
We are at the very end of NBA caravan and we are surrounded with mirages of glory.
But Zeke is leading the way on the first camel and we will reach the promised land after last man who entered the quest will vanish. No witness of Laden time misery should be alive to see the Promised land.
And with the help of God and his prophet Zeke we will be there one day.

If you can't see the wisdom behind the Marbs move than I can't help you. Marbs was needed here. He was needed to bring back the excitement to this organization. And he did so, by taking us to the playoffs. Everything else that has happened to Marbs since he's been here is not his fault. He has really tried to lead. Tried to make us a better team, but unfortunately some haters that masquerade as fans would not let him. It's sickening. Sickening I tell you. It's so sickening, it just makes me want to puke, want to puke!!!

I thought I was a lover...Marbury did not hold up his end of the bargain in any trade for him. Every team that traded him away got better while every one that recieved him got worse. It does not take a brain surgeon to see that. He brought us to the playoffs in the last week of the regular season with a 39-43 record. Marbury has never made the Knicks a .500 basketball team. He is not a leader and after his temporary high wore off after the 04 season we realized why teams did not value him any more. Marbury has the talent and ability to be one of the best all time but he will always be in the categlory of the Tim Thomases of the world. He sucks and we suck more with him. We should of signed a pre-nup because this marriage is over. The future of this team should be built around David Lee, Nate Robinson and our 2008 first round pick. Fuck a ship in a stormy sea. Why are the Knicks in a raggedy pirate ship while everyone else either has or are saving up for fleet and cruise ships. You take this ship and give life savers to a chosen few (Lee, Nate, and maybe Crawford). Then you shoot your cannon downward into the ships spine. Everyone without a lifesaver is a goner. Let the survivors build the TITANIC!!!

Did someone say smoke? No problem. Fireman Zeke will be Johnny on the spot with the fire department to douse the flames of unathletic, uninspired play. He will rescue the joy from the Larry Brown blaze, and in this way, he'll save the day.
