You win the game--PERIOD. You dont make excuses--you win the game. You need 6 players to win a game--we had much more than that.

There is NO mental toughness from the coach down to the players. The BRAINS coaching and running the show are on the low end.

When when when when when does this end??? At what point is enough--there are no mor excuses here--Isiah Thomas regime hasnty worked--we need a new voice and new thoughts

Briggy,

There is somthing wo wrong with this team it defies logic.

Given the clamp down on the team thru the media one might suspect that there is/has been other issues with the team.

One could suspect that Starbury got goods on Isiah, who got goods on Dolan, who won't even listen to the Commish for help.

With Dolan other things become important besides logical business applications.

To conclude, this really is the worst of seasons. Usually we are cooked by march first, or the all star break, but this team never got out of the gates at all.

Starbury getting "cosmetic" surgury to his ankles is a very strange occurance. He really was sent home way early in the season and with much time on his contract. This is a big story and it killed the team. Marbury's finest season yet as a cancer!!!!!

Even if it were his ankles and we know he had a history of playing thru it, would you put those 20million dollar ankles in those god awful sneakers and play????? Is it really that simple? The dumb ass played on bad kicks?

Watching this team there must be somthing besides just being bad, there is an ill wind that blows thru this team.

One must hope that Dolan is allowing Isiah to dig his own grave, tanking for a high draft pick, and just plans on cleaning house.

I would fire every all the coaches, even Herb and rebuild. I'd replace Mills and all below him on the knicks side of MSG.

Some of us saw the foul winds blowing through the Garden three or more years ago and have been calling for change all the while. It gets tiring to sing the same song over and over everyday.

Three lottery picks given up, with another first rounder due in 2010.

So many wasted years...

great post... I agree, there is something so wrong with this team, that it does defy logic. I have lost interest in this team, it is no longer funny or sad. It is becomming tragic...

agree with all the above. that's why i'm not watching any games now and just hoping for them to lose. let's get a high pick, get isiah out of here, and give someone who's competent a chance to rebuild.

in the meantime let's keep one another entertained, as we seem to have a knack for doing, and wait it out till we have something real to root for again.

The problem with this thought is that if Dolan is planning on moving IT- why wait? The trading deadline is ahead- you get a new GM in here with a clear mandate to rebuild the 'right way' and that new GM might be able to move Crawford & Filler (think Malik or JJ1/2) and get back shorter contract & picks.

Who knows, perhaps they could move Randolph or Curry.

But, move & stack up picks, play the rookies, especially Morris who can leave for nothing, and find out what we have.

I'm worried that Dolan's actions in tightening the media noose around the org is simply him battening down the hatches and it signals an intent to keep IT around.

But then this is logic, and there is nothing logical about this org.

MSG reminds me mofos clan which was beaten down by better run gangs, troubled by authorities, lost respect and soldiers.
But it is no way out of the family. All tired together by dirt on each other.

Funny, while I don't miss Marbury on the court, I do miss the quotes and videos.

He really should have his own TV show!!!!!!!

Unplugged!

exactly.. why wait? give the new GM a shot at unloading some of these contracts elsewhere at the trade deadline...that is why I feel dolan has no intentions of firing Isiah anytime soon. If he really cared about doing whats right for this franchise, Isiah would have been gone, months ago....
