Lee Ronson played for the giants and won rings.....well he was on the roster as a running back....but never made a carry. Still, he did move on to the Browns making millions as their starter later on.

Anyway, I watched the superbowl with this man in church of all places. There were a couple thousand men gathered in a concert hall that is now a church. This is an unothodox church you would imagine. They have 3 large projection screens, with a sound system better than IMaX.

It was awesome to say the least. During half-time, Lee Ronson took the stage and preached. He talked about how he hated the Giants cuz they wouldn't play him. At one of his running back meetings, he quit. It was the meeting before the superbowl! He left the giants and was on his way to the hotel to get his family cuz he was going back home.

A teamate(can't remember who he said it was, but he was a starter). Ran out to his car and confronted Lee on some fighting stuff. Lee was already pissed and fussing cuz he felt like the giants were hurting his career by not playing him. The player told Lee that he wasn't going anywhere and that his team needed him. That player wasn't gonna let Lee leave by any means. Needless to say Lee got the picture and he came back.

Well Lee Ronson explained that the player could have told him to beat it. He also could have just said, "yo lets go get a drink and chill". Lee explained that the player did what Lee needed......and that was LOVE him.

Lee had so much hate in his blood for the uniform he had on, that he forgot it wasn't about him. It was about the team. The men suiting up around him. He was apart of that. Lee took this lesson and went on to line up on special teams. He made a devestating tackle that helped build the energy up for the rest of the guys to bring home the ring.

From my own understanding, Love is God. God is Love. When you give love, and receive love and be love you are God. Not saying you are divine, but I am saying you are one with God. You are doing Gods will. Gods will is love.

I'm getting deep on you UK dudes but that is the message Lee was trying to bring to the church and I in turn am relaying it to you.

In terms of what this message brought to the crowd? Men crying like babies. Lee asked if any men would come up and give theirselves to God and it was pretty emotional how 15 men(of all walks of life) got up there crying. Lee had us all say "break" together.....pretty touching moment. Reminded me that I was still in church. I must admitt that I was moved by what I witnessed.

Football, basketball, sports in general.......its all entertainment. Its important to us as a way to help us enjoy life. Life is a sport that we are all playing. We all lead separate lives and have our own plan. We deal with our demons and get by the way we know how.

The message of this thread is Love. Love is God and God is love. You can't be happy until you can find love in everything, good or bad. Starts with yourself and it will radiate to all things around you. Those things are already giving you that love energy so be ready to take that in as well.

i can certainly get with the message of dealing with our demons and opening up to giving and receiving love. that's truly what it’s about.
