Kudos to the Patriots whom could have coasted into the playoffs and if given up the perfect season MIGHT have been fresher. They went for it and that is very respectable even if they are cheating sacks of dung.

When the chips were down Eli was there. His first TD pass had to be perfect and it was. The final drive was a masterstroke! Rolling out for Tyrees crazy catch was in his DNA.

He has been breed for this his whole life. A winners mentality.

Simmons last year wrote that Fixing the Knicks is as easy as drafting kids from winning programs. Giants paid a big price for Eli over Rivers and co. but it all came thru last nite. Quality USUALLY pans out. Price is only an issue in the absense of quality!

Lets even look at our friend Isiah, who was born from the Street but was galvanized by Bobby Knight and Isiah was the PG for a national title. That pedigree carried him to overcome the slap downs by the Celts and Lakes for his own two rings!

So why does Isiah keep going out and getting talented unacomplished Gazy Men tme and time again??? Ego that he can convert these kids? Ignorance? Arrogance?

For a man who has lived it one would think he would be smart enough to understand this!

All hail the TikiBury-less Giants and the unlikely run to greatness!

The coach pulled a Torre and became a winner by changing his stripes a bit.

The Payton Family is now the first family for QB's. I thought Archie was an ass for moving the kid away from San Diego but in the end his two boys are both enshrined as winners for life.

Note to Isiah: Draft and trade for winners when your making moves. That will get you closer. They need not be "stars", just high IQ guys who won't like losing.

Cuz winning is more fun!!!!!!!!!!!

unfortunately- this needs to start at the top.

dolan doesn't have it in his dna to find the kind of independent, forward thinking GM we need to establish credibility, and allow him to tell Dolan no.

Dolan needs yes people. His frail ego suffers otherwise, and he has too much money to be told no.

Good point.

Remember Isiah in his first year tried to get the players to stay in NYC overnite on game days, take subways and be a part of the "CITY" experience. He preached the pride of being a knick and would give league sponsered speached to potential NBA players that they need to be more respectful of being an NBA player and use the privilige with respect.

In turn this guy sh!ts on the very thing he was promoting!

Dolan is a piece of sh!t himself and who can stomach losing as long as his entertainment company wins........!

Money is not the thing which makes you THE MAN in America. There are a lot of people with big $$$... So what?
Even Jimmy realized that to get famous he needs to have a sport team or play some music.
What makes Cuban a celebrity? His money? No way... It's Mavs.
What makes Jimmy a clown? The Knicks.
So the question is why he is soo stupid not to use the opportunity to hand out this team to right professionals?
It is never late. As as soon as this club will start rolling again nobody will remember that this was all Jimmys fault. It will be Layden/Isiah fault.
Stop fooling around Jimmy. You are missing out.

With Jimmy's money we could spend not just on getting the right roster but the scouting, training, and coaching could be a dynasty.

Why spend 10s of millions on the GazyMen when it could be put toward young players, Dleague, and the best of everything.

The yanks don't win every year but is any expense spared to beef up the minors and give them what they need to develop?

Instead we employ GazyBury's and fight harrassment suits!!!!!

Me thinks Jimmy don't understand Hockey so he don't interfere anymore. He really had Bure here cuz he wanted to see Kournikova!

Jimmy meddles with the knicks, which he understands.
