It's now posted on YAHOO:
Nets in three-way talks for Kidd

By Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports

The New Jersey Nets are in serious negotiations with the Dallas Mavericks and Portland Trail Blazers about a blockbuster three-way trade that would send Jason Kidd to the Mavericks, league sources said Wednesday afternoon.

In the proposed trade, Dallas and Portland would send the Nets a package that includes the Mavs' Devean George and Jerry Stackhouse and Blazers forwards Travis Outlaw and Channing Frye and guard Jarrett Jack. Mavericks point guard Devin Harris would be sent to Portland. Along with Kidd, the Nets would send reserve forward Malik Allen and center Jamaal Magloire to Dallas.

The Nets would also receive at least one future No. 1 pick and cash. It's expected that New Jersey would work a buyout with Stackhouse and allow him to be a free agent. Other players could be included to balance the exchange of contracts.

The Record (N.J.) first reported Wednesday morning that the three teams were in discussions.

League sources say that Nets president Rod Thorn has been working the phones relentlessly since Kidd went public on Monday with his trade request. Thorn seems determined to get a deal done soon and may be looking to completely remake the Nets. He also has been dangling guard Vince Carter.

Kidd, 34, is making $19.7 million this season, and has one year left in on his contract at $21.4 million. Kidd The addition of Kidd could make the Mavericks sudden favorites in the West, where they have had two straight heart-breaking playoff runs and currently have the third-best record in the conference.

I said Kidd was going to Dallas.

And if New Jersey gets all those young players Thorn would have rebuilt his team with just one trade with plenty of trading chips at his disposal.

Please if there is a Basketball God make this trade happen! DJ planted this seed into my mind many months ago when I was in deep depression after the GS series, and at the time I didn't think this trade would ever seriously happen but now it looks like that final piece might be added into the mix. Sure Jason is close to retirement but with this post season and maybe next post season my "other team" could have a title.

Look at this: I am sure this was all speculation IMO- these writers are like phone sex hotlines- whatever turns you on they say- or just make up.

Also I remember a LOT of people saying how - the Knicks were turned down for Zbo - and he has no value - and it must be true because its in the paper- well as usual - here comes the retraction weeks late.

Isiah must be burning up the phones trying to swing a deal for Wince.

I don't care who it is, if there's a max contract player on the market we're definitely interested, and he's got a great shot at being our new franchise player.

A backcourt of Vince and Jamal could be the most potent pairing since Steph and Stevie, or even Zach and Eddy.

I don't think NJ would be getting enough in that deal. That would be a very good deal for Portland and an even better deal for Dallas. You have to get much more than one late 1st round pick and a couple of bench players for a hall-of-famer with 3 years left.

agree w/u... where are these big chips the Nets are getting for 1 of the best PG's in the game? Travis Outlaw, Jarrett Jack, Channing Frye & a late 1st round pick? are you kidding me? not one of those guys are close to star calibre. this is a pure salary dump... i'm surprised Thorn would give up Kidd for that package to be honest... if i were him i'd be demanding Devin Harris in the deal at the very least.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
