Will be invited to our summer league !!! That is why WARD can be bought out now !!! Then we can pray we could trade EISLY so next yr we have MILOS, WILLIAMS & HATTEN !!!

As muchs as I would like to see the Knicks unclog the point guard jam, Ward is the best one of the bunch right now. I don't think Williams will be ready next year (unless we are content not to make the playoffs and let him develop), and I don't think Hatten is going to be the answer either. Hatten is an exciting player but can he really make any impact at all?

yeah andrew he can, he is cheaper,better and younger than any guard we have now. look what speedy claxton did for the spurs. Hatten is of the claxton mold. Hatten can push the rock which is more than we can say for any of our slow guard tandem.

Saying Ward is the best of the tandem, is a back ward insult in a ways. no offense andrew, but that insusinates that we are still trying to win still trying for that magical 8th seed, and thats a joke. if we are not competeing for a championship we aint doing crap.

the Goal is for this team to get cheaper,younger and better. then make a run a some big freee agents.

in the last three years,and into next year, Tmac,Webber,Garnett,Bryant, all have\will opt out there contracts. we had no shot at none of them. right now winning is a moot point because keeping the dead weight ensures at best a eight seed. right now it's about unloading , and devolping.

no one has seen milos play but we are sure he can make a impact but we see a pretty good guard like hatten and wont give hima shot as a cheap free agent???

Andrew do we have a choice?? i mean if kidd goes back to NJ, and the knicks don't make a move then i count 7 teams better then us in the east alone, New jersey, detroit,indy,Boston,philly,charlotte and orlando. now we got milwaukee,atlanta even cleveland coming up.

I am all for development. The Knicks organization has not done one thing that points the team in that direction....that is why I don't see Ward being released. It still is all about wins and people in the seats.

Speedy was good on a strong Spurs team with Duncan, and had a good last couple of games, but overall he was pretty bad in my opinion at running the team. Hatten could help...but is there any need to add him?....You are just taking minutes away from Williams.

andrew i hear you but i pointed out 7 teams in the east better than us, thats just the east, there about 9 teams in the west that are better too.

With ward or with out him we aint winning much.

i think Hatten is going to be better than williams, hatten has heart from what i saw williams has no heart. you cant teach heart. for the cost why not(800 grand??) the competition will be good for williams. We got so much dead weight i can see a spot for a guy that can play.

Ares you all over Hadden like he's ISAIAH or something. Get over it he will be the 12 th man or 3rd string guard who didn't even get drafted. I can't believe you think ward isn't the best on the knicks, he plays defense better than all the others cuz he's a vet and been to warfor the knicks. Hatten is like Lavar Postel why don't you mention that? StJohns alumni who gets fans(you+ tkf) excited because he's from around da way. Man if anybody thought he had game he would have got drafted along with Troy Bell of Boston College both from the Big East. Your bias are really showing now.

Hatten will struggle initially.. he has to get stronger and learn how to run a team. He wasn't drafted for a reason. That said.. I loved watching him in College and he will eventually be a contributor in the league... he'll get better in Europe or NBDL. If Hatten was our starting point guard we'd be in contention for the #1 pick next year. SJU didn't run the most complex sets.... and Hatten played shooting guard. He's got talent but will have to develope more. He would've been picked if he could start.
