I actually like Randolph. The guy plays hard. He is a solid rebounder and he can score on almost anyone. THe coaching staff has been talking to him about passing more when he is double-teamed. If he can improve in that area, I can deal with him. He is a bad defender, but he does bring effort and he has the intellegence to understand defensive rotations. All in all, there are far worse starting PFs in the league. The problem is that he and Curry cannot play together because we lose too much on defense. I would ship Curry out and keep Randolph.

Seriously.......Isiah just wouldn't trade him or release him. God brought in Craw and Nate.......then he tried Francis and Collins......nothing.......he tried brown, Anunca.....he sent KT and Q out to kick his ass......the media, Islesfan.....even his own father........nothing could change him......nothing could make Isiah waive or trade him.......
So God had to break his ankles.....he's done for now......
I just hope he stays away and Isiah or whoever finally does the right thing and banishes him from the basketball floor. No telling what else could happen.....God knows.

The had some articles yesterday on the fact no one trusted Marbury. The guy was the face of the franchise but no one in the lockerroom trusted the leader. Now that he is gone, Crawford has become the de facto leader and players listen and trust him more than they every did for Marbury. That is why you are seeing more controlled play from Crawford and improved team chemistry now that Marbury is out of the picture.

I think BoneSpurBury and the AwolBury incidents most certainly hurt this team but let's not get foolish and assume we would have won 50 games this year if he was sent home over the summer.
We're not very good. We're better without him in regards to team chemistry given Isiah's vision of using Crawford to run the team and wanting Marbury to be the off-guard something he clearly did not embrace and it certainly shows that the team is happier as is without MopeBury but let's not get too crazy about what the past 7 games means and whether or not it's all about Marbury leaving the team.
I know plenty of people want to say we're a .714 team (won 5 of 7) and want to muse that if Marbury was never here this year we'd be a 30-12 team but that is just not logical thinking. It's a nice dream but not logical. No, nobody has said that, but if you read around a lot infer we've won 5 of 7 because Marbury is not here so one can only assume people believe we are indeed a "win 5 out of every 7 games" team without Marbury which we of course....are not.
All I'm trying to say is give it a little more time than an opportunistic stretch of games before declaring what did or did not lead to such a run. You could be viewing it very differently 10 days from now.

Cosmic, i'm not claiming .714 but realistically Q-Rich alone has cost us 3-5 wins, Curry another 3-5.. we aint done subtracting. Morris should be playing over Curry and Balkman and Chandler should get all of Q's minutes.
I don't think its crazy to think we aren't at least a .500 team with a real coach and a real C and a real SF. 7 games better than what our record is now. 7 games... heck i can count those 3 games where we lost Zach to bereavement and those dreadful games after Marbury's return.. If we were playing .500 ball all year long, there wouldn't be this fixation on wanting the team to lose every game. We'd be inthe hunt and we'd be talking about our prospects and how the kids ar playing and would only get better in time.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Like NENE ridded his tumor off his testicle, we have extracted TesticularBury from the roster for now and team is "ding donging the WitchBury is dead!!!!" to a nice little win total the last two weeks! We still suck, but we are moving in the right direction! It would appear his little immature street game with Skip-to-my-"Lue" was the last straw for him.
There is an old saying that says "be nice to those on the way up because you don't know who you'll see on the way back down!". All those wonderful things Arrogantbury has said or done over the years with that wonderful reputation makes him fair game to get spanked. I think many players enjoy beating down a max player, especially BowelMovementbury!
Perhaps the reason Dolan has not extracted Isiah is the who thought process might be that Marbury has really gone around the twist and was far more disruptive than we really know, thus giving proper cause to expect that the team without him would improve itself.
Ok, I can live with that providing Isiah also gets smarter and makes better decisions.
Like Layden before, I don't need Isiah's head, I just want a valid plan and no more starphuching.
