that Isiah is going to desperately, and pathetically, attempt to draw parallels between the Knicks and the Giants. I can already hear him talking about how "some people" in NY wanting to get rid of Tom Coughlin, people saying that Eli Manning wasn't good enough and how the Giants got off to a slow start of their own this year. I'm already nauseated by this. As I will be watching the Knicks leech as much goodwill from the Giants SuperBowl run as they possibly can. How many Giants are going to be in attendance at tomorrow's game, courtesy of MSG?

Actually- I agree Isles. Good call.
But, so what?
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

Yeah - I guess saying that it takes time for a team to become a team - and for all that talent to jell- is just a ridiculous statement to make. I mean every year for the last three years - EVERYONE has been saying that the Giants had the most talent on their roster - but never seemed to make the playoffs - is something giants fans forget quite conveniently.

Especially on defense between Strahan, Pierce, Madison, Osi, etc and offense Plax, Shockey, a very good O line, - hat even with a great GM and good coach - it took them over 4 years - well I guess - thast a reach right?

The thing we should take from the Giants is how Reese comes in as Giants GM. Cuts Arrington, Petticoat, Will Demps. Avoids big money free agents such as Nate Clement, Lenard Davis, & Adalius Thomas. Also avoids trading draft picks for Lance Briggs or Kevin Shaffer. Does trade away enigma Tim Carter who we were going to cut anyway for Ruben Droughns. Trades for Madison Hedgecock the full back and locks him up for a cheap 5 season contract and he turned out to be a stud. Signs K.Mitchell the LB to a one yr deal for cheap. Goes to the draft and lands 6-7 players that have contributed to our currect success there rookie season. He analyzed the type of players we had on defense and added the aggressive Spags who was raised under Jimmy Johnson blitzing defense.

Reese has been flat out money. He took a lot of heat when he was hired because he was so patient. They were saying he was sabotaging TC and throwing away a season to rebuild. But he has been a great talent evaluator, finding bargains, avoiding big money players. Had a great draft. He has done close the the complete opposite of what Isiah Thomas has done when he started out as president for the Knicks. Hopefully this is the type of GM he will be for Giants going forward. Giants have a ton of cap space going into next season, the 3rd youngest team in the NFL, and are in the Superbowl.

Im pretty sure its a 6th rd draft pick.

I think we should trade Derick Ward for a CB. Then draft another RB in the 6th-7th rd again.

who's Petticoat?

i agree w/u 100% dude... the guy made the tough decisions to cut payroll & build back up w/youth & look where we are now... some key players went down w/injuries during the season & the kids stepped up HUGE in their place... this is how you build a winning franchise.

They're going to be talking to in attendance Brandon Jacobs, R.W. Mcquaters he's going to be throwing footballs into the stands like a Fairy while they pump Fox Sports Football Theme Music 100 decibels across the PA system. Very predictable and corny to say the least.

Aaron Ross and Steve Smith are there too.

Knicks would be better off if Eddy Curry, amongst others, wasn't.

And there you go. Down big to start the 4th. Show the Giants and get the restless crowd all excited...about something other than the Knicks.
