Make trades for a potential playoff push?

or

Stand Pat.. hope for the best?

I happen to think that we should actually trade for picks, and expiring contracts. Lose the rest of our games and assure that we have a top 5 lottery pick.

Donte Greene (sf/pf-syracuse) and Jerryd Bayless (pg-arizona) are my hopefuls. (If DeAndre Jordan declares, he'd be a nice big man prospect as well)

i would stand pat unless we can trade for shorter contracts for curry. i dont trust thomas with his moves anyway so it would be good if they stood pat. the only decent deal out there is bibby and artest with an upgrade in talent and far shorter contracts. but i would have to put curry or randolph in the deal.

With Isiah still GM/Coach this is irrelevant.

With the way the Knicks are going lately.....maybe they should just stay the course. Isiah kept burying his own players talent.....if anything in the off-season.....if things continue to stay this way....Isiah should look to insert the right coach that can concentrate on the development of the team. Get a smarter game plan and offense. Someone who will actually use the players he has.

If this team takes a turn for the worser(cuz worse came and went)....then they should look to dump Zach for cap and picks. Other than that.....not much to do but try to lose without it being obvious. There's no honor in that.

I would accept a trade like Zach out of town or a Mike Miller Deal

Anything else is a no go

You know, I love Mike Bibby. I also think Artests game is awesme.

Faling back.......Mike Bibby is kinda old. He can still play at a high level. He's just a top notch player. But look at Nate.......Nates game is becoming like Bibbys. Their shooting and scoring ability is on par with each other. Nates passing is evolving. Bibby is capable of dominating the assists in an offense, but he is better when he is....well putting up Nate like numbers!

Artest is awesome but he's a focal point......do the Knicks really need a volume scorer? Artest, curry, Zach, Craw? Its not a bad thing but it would be another adjustment. This group has shown that adjusting is a half a season long struggle. Plugging Artest in Q's spot should be easy but like I said it probably won't.

Its fun to think about but, the players have to make it happen. Next season Isiah has to seriously think about putting a real coach in there to put in a game plan that both that coach and Isiah can agree with.

We aren't going to rebuild. Sadly It just ain't gonna happen. We would have to make some rather horrible trades for that to happen. If we could trade one of our big contracts that would be a gift, so i'm not holding out much hope for trading more than one big contract. I just don't see it happening. Teams will look to rape us on any trades. I could be wrong, but that's the feeling I get.

What's the harm of we stand pat? We take our pick in the draft and we'll still have the offseason to make moves. Take it slow and deliberate. THINK our way thru this.

I think Isiah should make a massive, team-destabilizing trade, and bring in a sulky me-first player.

The guys are starting to come together and play with some chemistry. We can't have that on a Knicks team.

Ok I have a crazy trade - first things first - throw the salary cap out the window and make this year - the year to triple it

As I said before we all know Donald Sterling is the cheapest owner in basketball- so here goes
1. Marbury+Rose's expiring contract + Eddie Curry,Balkman, Lee, Collins, Jer. Jones for Kaman +Brand and Correy Maggette and a first round pick!!

Now that we have all of Artest's high school buds from the NY area- Q Rich, Brand, Maggetee -he signs for the mid-level exception.

Starting lineup:
Kaman, Brand, Artest, Crawford and Magette
off the bench Zbo, Nate, Morris Randolph,Q Rich and whatever draft picks we sign
