I know the previous models left something to be desired, but this one seems pretty good. Anybody have any feedback? www.bowflexrevolution.com

I think its a bretty good lookin machine.

It only works if you put in the work. My friend had one and got ripped between that, playing basketball, and living with a west indian moms that can cook her ass off.

If you have the space, can afford it, and absolutely will use it religiously.......get it.

Nothing like mastering your own weight......

......but if you are 5'9" and 240lbs....you might want to get your ass in a gym.

Bowflex is nice though. Again you gotta kick ass on it. Burn that mofo out.

I have very little time to work out anymore, but what's kept me in great shape is a heavy bag, speed bag, running, jump rope, and sit-ups. You'd likely spend less for that set up than a Bowflex and exercising by beating the heavy bag is proven.

That sounds like a good idea.......I keep dancing around with the idea of getting a heavy bag. I could just cave in and get a heavy bag/speed bag station.

That would go awesome with the pull-up/dip station I posted above.

Absolutely... the pull-up/dip item would be great. So would an adjustable sit-up bench.

The steeper the angle, the more stress it puts on your abs.

I'd recommend getting one that you could hang. Hanging it from your truss would be ideal, because you can really go at it. The one with the stand full of sand aren't nearly as good because when you hit it hard, it moves or topples. For speed bags, they sell adjustable speed bag platforms (just make sure it installed correctly). Theoretically, you could turn a modestly sized basement into an elite gym and a very small cost.

And I'm telling you, the ladies eat the look you get from that type of workout up. I run and row (at my school's gym) too. While I've always been in relatively good shape, I have a six pack for the first time in my life. You will get so much cruise ass your head will spin.

I don't know how much this Bowflex stuff costs, but this is the way to go. And you can always get yourself pumped up by YouTubing Rocky training montages.

Seriously though.....with a chin-up bar you can do these too.....this is kind of an advanced move. Still just trying to do it is a major workout. Pull-ups in general work the abs.
