I want Gus Johnson to call a meaningful Knicks game

i like his emotion but when it comes to the Knicks he's too much of a homer for my tastes
but i have to admit, the call he had on Jamal's crazy turn the ball over, get the ball back & toss up a 3 pointer to win the game vs. DEN call was the best one in years. After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Gus is fun during the intense moments of the game. I'm dead tired of Kenny Smith and Mike Breen. Both are just terrible. Kenny just babbles on and on like an unlikeable John Madden - and with Breen? If you weren't looking at the screen...for about half the game...you'd think it was a talk show.
Gimme Clyde and Marv - or Johnny Hoops - and even Gus. The rest can take a hike. I will say that one stand in for..was it the Wizards game? That guy was pretty good. Or well, tolerable at least. http://popcornmachine.net/ A must-use tool for NBA stat junkies!

Ever since Gus stopped saying "Pure!" he's been incredible. I can listen to that man read the dictionary all day and not get bored.
