The way Reggie Theus was talking about David Lee[a no-no with NBA bylaws]--the way they brought both Bibby and Artest back. Our need for a PG and a SF--I think it may be gone for Artest Bibby and Miller for Lee Marbury Jones and Chandler. Just a guess

That would put us at
C Miller
F Randolph
F Artest
F Crawford
G Bibby
Curry
Q Rich
Balkman
Nate

Very Isiah like

if this happens, no one with the knicks has learned anything. I will give up any hope isiah might be out soon. and I probably will give up watching them.

bibby should be called maytag, cause he is all washed up.

lee and balkman are the only players we have who are 'winners'

Its astounding how many assinine statements are made on a daily basis here. Remind me when did Balkman and Lee win anything?

by 'winners' i mean players who leave it all on the court because they want to win. WANT TO WIN or WILL TO WIN.

Zach? Curry? these guys are at the opposite spectrum of desire, at least as far as the desire to win goes.

You can probably toss nate in there as well. and Chandler would probably be included- he certainly seemed to exude it during summer league.

IMO this is just making up your own rules and definitions. Leave it "I think these players work hard everynight" why must it always be "he's a loser, he's a winner".

I'm not for this trade either, but as bitty stated, this statement is way off base. Bibby, and Artest have played in huge playoff games over thier career's. Bibby was the missing piece to a potential sacramento championship run. Artest was the main piece to the best team in the east until he flipped.

Lee and Balk are every much a part of this mess as anyone.

And Ron Artest and Mike Bibby do not have the will to win?

The David Lee love here is ridiculous. He's a career backup PF. He's nothing special. Lee will never be as good as either Artest or Bibby.

When a team is 12-26, no player should be untouchable. Especially 2 one dimensional, overrated, career backup's like David Lee and Renaldo Balkman.

You're right. Extremely Isiah-like. That's why he's got to go YESTERDAY if not sooner.

The trade I would've loved to have seen several weeks back with the Kings would've been a Francisco Garcia/Justin Williams package coming to NY somehow. But I don't even want to see that anymore. That would've been a 'now' trade and this team should no longer be thought of as a 'now' team.

And now we've got that Goddamn fluke winning streak that does absolutely nothing but jepordize our all-important draft position. There goes our top 3 pick ... What the hell is the point anymore????????

There is no TOMORROW for Isiah and key players he brought is.
They MUST drag TODAY as long as possible.
And they do.

I think we are trying to move Zach Randolph and I don't think we are trying to move Lee.

With Marbury there is clearly no incentive to move him right now. He'll be more valuable next year and now that he is hurt, a) he's away from the team which is what matters most and b) no one will trade for him.

The Lee love around here is ridiculous????????

This is a comment made by people who judge basketball by box scores only. Not by people who recognize heart, leadership, b-ball IQ, rare ball-handling & passing ability for a PF, ability to finish. These skills are all less exploited b/c he's playing with a pile of steaming crap for teammates. Put him on SA, PHO, DET, BOS, ORL, LAL, PO, DAL etc. & he's a perennial 6th man of the year guy.

Getting crazy ass Artest to along with malcontent Zach to go along with fat, lazy ass Curry is an unmitigated disaster.

you know what, the kings have been much better than the knicks at finding and developing talent. they have kevin martin who is better than any young talent that we have drafted in the past 10 years, they picked salmons off the scrap heat and he is now a player.... Why do you think they want lee? why would they be willing to give up bibby and artest.. I will tell you why. Bibby is washed up!!!!! Artest is a complete frigging head case..... they love lee and I suspect that they will take lee, and martin and salmons and build a nice young team with that, while we keep repeating the same dumb ass mistakes!!!

look, lee isn't as good as artest or bibby. but as a knick fan you should realize that basketball isn't a game of accumulating stars - look at the **** show we've had to watch this season. we can love lee as a player because he's unselfish, makes the most of his (yes, finite) talents, and plays like he cares. he's not the only one, but his name is the one that keeps popping up in trade rumors. given IT's track record of basically slapping us fans in the face, we have a right to be worried.

Reggie Theus recently told reporters he wants to coach Bibby and Artest. Their team has now come around to being healthy. Bibby scored 20pts in his first game back he's not washed up but his contract is an albatross. Theus acknowledges to Sac media the trade discussions are out of hands. So it's more about Petrie trying to swindle I SAY UGH than anything else. It's why Sac media is leaking all this info on us along with New Jersey. Theus wants the team in tact as much as possible. Their record isn't all that bad considering their injury issues and conference they play in.

Why can't we rebuild with youth like every other team? Somebody said well Lee isn't as good as Artest and Bibby...No **** Sherlocks. He has been in the league for not even 3 yrs yet. Let him develop. We are not winning a championship this yr or in the next 3. We are not going to the playoffs. We are going to **** up the chemistry AGAIN. You dont trade players like Lee and Nate you let them develop. I am ****ing done if they make any trade like this.
I have a feeling we are going to do something with Sacremento
