Hey , I guess since we are not blessed with having our knicks on tonight, the bobcats vs the nuggets should be a good game. I am interested to see how okafor does vs camby. should be a good match up.

Heck, lets make this the official bobcats thread... LOL...

until it gets locked..

Not blessed with having the Knicks on? Is that supposed to be a joke?
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Nice win, the cats get the hawks tomorrow. that should be a nice game here in ATL. I might go to that one..

Gerald Wallace is by far their best player, he's a freak and as Major said earlier J-Rich>Chuckford shooting.

Oh I didn't see this thread and had posted about this win in the Pricks-Pistons game thread. Another good game by the Cats. Sam Vincent though is a jackass for starting McMinus and not going with the big lineup of Nazr and Mek. He waited until the 4th to do that and finally the Cats were able to shut down Camby who dominated in the 2nd and 3rd. Also Sam Vincent had JRich guarding Melo for 3 quarters which was about the dumbest move I've ever seen. Totally took JRich out of the game until the 4th when Sammy went too the zone and took him off Melo. Wallace is awesome and Felton had a great game playing like a true point guard. Matt Carroll had his best game of the season. The Nuggs sucked on defense. I was shocked KMart actually looked spry out there. AI had a mediocre game for AI standards.

what did you think of melo wetting the bed late in that game.. cats almost blew that one... I really wonder how long the nuggs are going to go with AI and melo, that combo to me is still a bit odd....

Okafor still doesn't look the same, he really needs to work on an offensive game this summer.... should have done so last year if he wants big bucks..

gerald wallace has been a beast of late..

Actually Okafor had a great game and was playing really well against Camby at times. But then Sammy took out Mek and went with Nazr who couldn't handle him and thats when Camby started to get into a rhythm.

Melo was unstoppable for most of the game but he had a bad back which he initially hurt in the first quarter. Yet he was still going off. Then he kept getting dinged up as the game went on and in the 4th quarter when Sam went to the zone and brought in both Nazr and Mek, it limited the Nuggs to taking outside shots which they clanked. But through 3 quarters the nuggets were rolling offensively led by Melo.

But the Nuggets are winning lots of games in the tough western conference with AI and Melo so something is working. And now KMart is starting to look and feel much better. Their problem though is perimeter defense. If they can shore that up, they will be tough to beat.

yea, with melo and AI, they will win games because the can score the ball, but my question is, in order for them to be a contender, is that combo going to really work? as far as kenyon goes, I have seen him quite a bit this year, there will be games where he looks like the kenyon of old and then games where you can see that he doesn't have that energy, I guess with his injuries that is to be expected. I just hope Isiah doesn't trade for that guy.. LOL....

And cut sammy some slack, rookie coach, but good basketball guy...

I watched the game in the 4th qtr and Kleiza should have never have touched the ball and should have been somewhere in the corner.

He should have passed the ball to JRSmith with about 2 sec left and he hesitated and waited and the buzzer went off.

Denever has to work on their perimitter defense.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Hey, just a question for you guys since you obviously have NBATV.

Do you know when they cut the price in half to buy it? I'm starting to think I want that the NBA package but don't want to buy it at full price now if its going to be cut down to halfprice next week or something.

I think it's at All-Star break like around $89.00.

Ah, ok. Thats what I figured. Hmm, thats not bad though. 90 bucks for the stretch run of the season where there could be some really good games with playoff implications? I'll do that then.
