Yep... Heat of the moment.
And this moment lasts forever.

We already used to Isiah.
It will be empty space if he will go...
We will have no target to boo, to joke about, to keep responsible for all evil things.
This will be definitely tuff times and it will be hard for all of us to adjust.
But hey... it’s a challenge. And we all are looking forward for it!!!

"I've never given it that thought. I only think about how fix it, how to make it right," Thomas said. "That's all my time and energy is focused on and until I do that, I'll be here trying to make it right."

That's your problem Isiah, you don't give a lot of things much thought.
Maybe we should bring someone in here who will actually think about things before doing them? Why would you NOT give up one of the two positions if it would make the team better if that is what you are "hell bent" on doing, you *******?

No newspaper articles is going to accurately tell us Isiah's or Dolan's intentions.

Isiah has no plans to step down, but I sure hope Dolan has an idea he might need to fire isiah's ass to save his franchise.

This is the franchise at risk- not merely this season or next. Dolan could end up with a whole bunch of Brooklyn Net Fans, and all of them generated with the help of Isiah on Dolan's watch.

He's simply hoping Dolan fires him so he can collect all his money.

This is evident by his "I come to work every day" comment in the file I posted earlier. He's saying to Dolan exclusively "I'm doing my job, I've done nothing that you can take to Stern to force Arbitration like we did to Larry, you fire me, I get every cent, so F-U!"

You can tell Isiah is miserable. You can tell Dolan is hoping he slips up. It's all politics right now.

What Dolan needs to do is REASSIGN HIM and get his lawyers to make sure that wouldn't breach the contract. Re-assign him to assistant director of player personnel. Make his life miserable...then work on a buy-out.

In the meanttime, Isiah would be REMOVED from the team and any decision making.

This really STINKS. It's now reduced to a fight between Isiah and Dolan over the 24M that Dolass gave him on the eve of Steve Franshyts prayer 3 in DC.

Just..............disgusting..........the truth that is.

What are you talking about? This was already known. It doesn't prove anything about him not getting fired eventually.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

if that is all it is, Dolan needs to Man UP and accept that it was his stupid move to give Isiah an extension. No One anywhere thought it made sense to give it to him when he did. Everyone, here, sports commentators, writers were shocked.

Dolan needs to Man Up! And apologize to Knick fans. Accept responsibility. Say his win now mindset clouded his judgment, he thought Isiah's moves would work out- but they were clearly gambles that backfired and the next GM has carte blanche to rebuild, and we hope you will be patient.

If Dolan does that, I think most here will give this franchise as much time as it needs to, if the next GM has a proven track record and has a plan and makes moves that reflect a plan to rebuild.

yea, Isiah is like that boxer that just refuses to go down, although his brain from the punches has now turned into soup... this guy just needs to go down, throw in the towel and walk away before more damange is done to the knicks.. If he even cares about this franchise, he should resign right now...
every morning I wake up hoping I see the headlines"Isiah Fired". Instead I see shyt like, " I am never, ever, ever, ever, going to quit". That is just depressing... damn depressing!!

And to think many here was upset with LB for trying to hang on to get rid of the dead weight on the roster and turn around his Home Town Team

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
