• SHOPLIFTING: An employee at Shur Fine Foods on North Main Street reported Monday that a man and a woman left the store with a car full of groceries without paying for it. The employee confronted the couple as they were loading the groceries into their car and asked to see a receipt. The woman told her she had used her debit card and did not have a receipt. The employee said she should still have a receipt even if she used her debit card. The woman then turned to the man and said, “
Get in the car, Ray,” and the pair fled southbound on Main Street, leaving the cart with $68.36 worth of groceries inside.
