announced today that the team has recalled rookie forward Demetris Nichols from the Iowa Energy of the D-League. The team also sent Curry to the team’s D-League’s affiliate.

Nichols (6-8, 216), claimed on waivers on Dec. 7, appeared in nine games with the Energy and averaged 18.1 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 2.6 apg, 1.00 bpg in 36.9 mpg and shot .414 from the field, .333 from the arc and .800 from the line. Prior to his arrival with the Bulls, he also spent time this season in New York and Cleveland, having appeared in three games with the Cavaliers.

Nichols was originally selected by Portland in the second round (53rd overall) of NBA Draft 2007 after a four-year standout career at Syracuse.

Can you imagine Curry and Zack in D-League playing together...
The D-League guards will score big numbers on them and will get D-Nic-like recall to NBA teams all over...

I will NEVER get over Isiah giving up on this kid. We have NO ANSWER at the three right now. We need shooting from that position and we give one up for who, what, Fred Jones. Im so sick of this Knicks squad now its unbelievable.

Did we give up a 2nd rounder this year for him?
I want to leave something that's going to stand for a long timeI want to leave a legacy,I want to leave tradition.I want to leave an imprint,a blueprint in terms of how people play, and how they coach and how they respond when they put on the Knick uni.

Yeah, this is really where I turned on Isiah. Couldn't throw up a white flag on either of the JJ's, or Freddy Jones to keep him.

Terrible...

Then we gave up another pick for Jordan. That was one of the most underrated wierd periods in the Isiah tenure.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Correct but Jordan was a second round pick by the Clippers. We essentially paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $3mil in cash considerations for Jordan from the Clippers to waive Dickau so the Clippers could sign him with our cash consideration. Then we end up saying Adios to Jordan along with Nichols. That's giving away 2 second picks and $3mil in cash, because we're hoping Big Game James comes and saves the day for Curry's Garbage Azz!

I understand the debacle known as the Nichols Experience, but not the Jordan one.
Jordan had no chance of making an NBA roster this year, so why did we sign him and not
just send him over seas and retain his rights for later on? I don't understand.
Unless we have a verbal agreement with him (makes no sense).

I think he said something like, "It shows that they're not a model of.. intelligent management"

You guys really don't believe this chicago guy(isiah) is trying to destroy NYC Pro ball
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.
