Regardless of How Much We Hate Isiah you can’t deny the positive impact he has had in creating parity and helping to rebuild the NBA during his Tenure with the Knicks.

The Suns
-Gift wrapped their rebuilding effort by take 35 million in Contracts, giving away future draft picks Marbury, thus allowing them to sign Richardson and Nash to long term deals
-Then Follows up that gem allowing the Suns to get rid of Richardson and has insured back and Long term deal for capable big Kurt Thomas who is also expiring this season

The Magic
-Provides them with a young asset and takes on 60 million for the expiring deal of Steve Francis which allows them the ability to bring in Rashard Lewis going from and 8th seed to the Third best team in the conference

The Raptors
-Fiscally responsible Isiah trades for Jalen Rose opening up the cap situation in Toronto allowing them to reshape their organization for the right to buy out Rose’s expiring asset after a year for a draft choice that isn’t in the rotation of a 8-23 team
-Meanwhile Rondo, Farmer, and Lowry are all solid pg for the teams and provide Leadership we are sorely lacking

The Bulls
-Isiah gamble and surprise, surprise lost on talent, cap room and any shot at a real future by taking Eddy Curry on when no one else would, pairing him with Jamal Crawford another deal that gave them cap room to sign a big time free agent
-Curry is averaging 14pt 5rbs the Knicks are no where near the playoffs and missed on three Allstars, not to mention a solid role player in last years draft

The Blazers
-Malcontent with a max deal, no problem for Isiah Thomas who took a draft mistake and turned it into one of the most selfish self serving bigs in the league. Shockingly the Blazers are one of the hotess teams in the league and a fostering team unity as they push towards the playoffs.

The Spurs
-Isiah uses the excuse he couldn’t resign Nazar for under 9 million, who immedialty signs for that amount at season end. However Isiah takes on Malik Rose’s long term deal to move up two slot in the draft, one of which becomes David Lee, however picks were bought for 3 million with no cap ramification something Isiah has failed to comprehend.
The Spurs get out of the deal and make small effective signings to help preserve their titles.

Hopefully we aren't discussing any Knicks trades.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

You mean the trade deadline? Here comes Baron Davis. Bye bye pick.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I think you mean Ron Artest. Davis is too sane for Isiah's liking.

I thought we were going after our shotblocker, Erick Dampier.

Score-first PG is right up Isiah's alley. You're right that he's not a jerk like the typical Isiah favorite.

he's acquired his share of jerks & nice guys alike... what has been consistent in his roster decisions has been the complete lack of any vision or plan.

Agree, although he's acquired more jerks than most GMs. I guess that happens when your idea of building a team is taking what other teams consider uncoachable players.

We need Dairy Azz Miles, Ron Artest, and Stephon Jax to complete the squad.

I Larry Hughes, while not a jerk, his game would fit in very well with our boys.

We can trade Balky, Lee, Q and Rose. THe rest are me first players that must be kept.

Maybe I should create 'keepisiah' and have it be represented by other team's gm's of the league. This guy is such a loser.

It's amazing how an arrogant SOB has a knack for bringing others/falling in love with others just like him. Is he even consciously aware of what he's diong?

Also...did taking Mo Taylor help the Rockets in any way?

I'm waiting for us to help either the Nuggets(Kenyon Martin or Nene), Wolves(Antione Walker), Sixers(Stupid Sam Dalembert), or again the Blazers(LaFrentz and Miles) next.
