We have no one on our team who could do this with exception to possibly Lee. Zach is selfish but if we could get some team first guys around him it would do him wonders. Curry would never give us a 20/20 game. Zach needs a mentor because he does love to play the game and gives effort most of the time.

I don't think Zach is selfish per se, and I don't buy into the whole 'loser' theory as far as zach & crawford- but, at the end of the day, the numbers speak for themselves and this isn't a team that fits together nicely.

Those certainly are impressive numbers, but it was a very quiet 18/22. Unfortunately his 6 turnovers really stood out.

FWIW, only 1 guy was positive in the +/- stat: Nate +4.

Lee was even at 0.

Everyone else was negative, including Zach.

But But But But Blue I mean But let's look at the positive. I looked right over those 6 TO's and just 1ast and zero'd strictly in on his 18/22. At the end of the day 18/22 is rarely put up in today's game therefore Zach deserves Mad Props.

We should build around Zach. He's only 26 and this is just his 7th season. He doesn't have the right players around him.

We already have the right players: Mardy, Q, Jeffries, Lee and Balkman.

You need to surround Zach with guys who can't shoot.

Start naming power forwards who can give 18pts/22reb. Chuck Hayes had no answer for Randolph's aggressiveness. Zach on most nights will have the advantage at his position.

There's still hope for Zach

Trueblue, you're a nice guy but come on, we've already tried the inconsistent very high risk low reward way of building a team. Enough already, lets get some people in here who have a clue. Your approach is the path towards nothingness. Portland realized this and thats why they paid Doctor Isiah Thomas to come and remove the cancerous tumor known as Zach Randolph.

Look, Zach Randolph is a selfish player who goes for his stats. Hooray for 22 rebounds. He did nothing else out there. Nothing. He needed to take 19 shots to get 18 points. He played like crap. End of story.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Major did you really think I was serious when creating this thread? Check the thread Briggs created just yesterday regarding Curry.

Anyway as I carry on with my sarcasm another thing I appreciate about Zach is we don't have to worry about him reaching some unknown potential. For the most part we can depend on him from game-to-game for consistent production. My preference is Zach over Curry.

This was already done in Portland.
Worked good for Zack - now he is in the City...

The only stats that matter are W's and L's... Randolph is a career loser, just like the rest of our starters (sans Q, but he doesn't count). They're all different flavors of the same brand. Randolph's numbers are fools gold... he's like the new Shareef Adbur-Rahim.

I agree. He's nothing big, as I said, but he's definately someone you can put other good pieces together with.

22 rebounds? Wow! Did you know that used to be a regular thing in the NBA years ago. We look at a guy averaging 10, 12 today and think 'what a great reboudner'. Ha, ha, ha, ha!!!
I'll never trust this' team again.
