He's looks a lot better this year--he reminds me of a young Ron Artest with better rebounding abilities. This is the type of player who is physically ready to play NBA defense and make an impact with the physical ability to be a scorer[who should gradually gets better as his shots improves] His combination of pure power and speed from the 2-3 is unusual and he would have the ability to guard the Lebron James's and match his strength and athletic ability. He's an up and comer and he plays hard.

Perhaps the Knicks can trade Nate Robinson to New Orleans for their 2008 number 1 pick--they are looking for a solid bench player who can score and play 1-2 on the cheap--and nate is really perfect for that. We can promise Harris the pick if he sits out workouts.

don't you think he'll stay in one more year and be a top scorer when D Greene leaves?
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

N.O. will end up in the second round. Why not try for a #1 from a team that is at least just under .500 or worse, if possible? If we had to pay some of Nate's contract, then at least it wouldn't be too bad. As a matter of fact, if that would be the case, we should get two' draft picks. Hell' why not just pay the rest of his contract for them, just to get the two draft picks? It has to be a team that has no chance of improving though.
I'll never trust this' team again.

He's a hybrid for sure. He still need work with the jumpshot but to get that kind of specimen with raw edges is worth it because he will be able to score the way the NBA is right now. We're NOT going anywhere for 2-3 years at a minimum. I'd like to see if we can get some big athletic effecient two way players--atleast a couple of them. We need some toughness both physical and mental. I like nate a lot im not a nate hater i just want to go in a different direction with bigger players.

He's basically Q right now, if Q understood his limitations. He is scary in terms of his physical stature, plays D, passes, can shoot within ten feet, and can bring it up.

Can't think of a ton of other players to compare him to. Artest, yes, but I'm not sure he'll ever shoot that well from outside.

Balkman/Ariza are a little longer, more athletic. Harris isn't one of those guys who can snatch a dime off the top of the backboard or anything.

I'd like to see him be more of a lead dog next year before he comes out.

He's not as tall or skilled as Artest. Artest is a natural SF, Harris is a tweener and those guys rarely make it in the NBA. Defensively, he can definitely play in this league, but his offense is still way behind despite the improvement I've seen in his game.

He would benefit tremendously by staying another year (if not all four years) and really work on his handle and perimeter skills. If he's going to make it in the NBA, he needs to become an adequate Shooting guard.

He actually reminds me a little of PJ Tucker from texas a few years back. But Tucker was a better offensive player than Harris and Tucker still hasn't gotten a shot in this league.

PJ Tucker is a perfect example of an undersized 4 who excells in CBB. Paul Harris is a guard who can play 1-2-3--the guys has a much better handle--a handle of a guard and the combination of physicqal brute strength and athletic ability that is pretty rare. I know the difference between guys like Kevin Freeman PJ Tucker etc... compared to a player who can play hybrid PG post 2-3 and learn how to shoot [better]along the way. Different type of players. Paul Harris is NBA and he could be darn good.

You can't teach hard work ethic in today's NBA, either you have it or you don't. Paul has it ! He can stay in school another yr to gain more confidence in his overall game and work on his jump shot.

If he was 6'8 he would be a beast.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

You must be joking if you think any team (especially one with a decrnt draft pick) is trading their 1st rounder to us for mental midget Nate.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Nate was worth pick 21 when we acquired him and he's worth pick 21 right now. I'm not a homer nor a hater. I call it down the middle--Nate Robinson has first round NBA talent and he has been playing his best ball since they gave him extended minutes and a definite role the last 6-7 games. He's not a starter--he's a John Starks type 6th man in a sense--a guy who has a ton of heart who can come off the bench with athgletiscm skills and can put up a lot of points in a hurry.

Alas--I do not know what to do about the Knicks. Being a Knick fan right now is akin to being in the dentist chair--grin and bare it.

I could see NO doing it. They are a very good team this year so they probably don't value their first rounder very highly.
