Anyone watching SU vs South Florida right now?

Donte' is the geniune article for sure. He has no match in this game I'm watching. He's been playing some power forward, some small forward. Looks more comfortable on the wing. Very Rashard Lewis like.

He's been scoring on put-backs, dunks, and treys. Haven't seen a post-up game, haven't seen him slashing. Looks pretty much like a floating, face the basket shooter.

His size and handle in the open court stand out at you. Dude is huge and can push the ball up the floor.

On defense, he is made for the 'Cuse. Takes up a huge amount of space on the floor. However, they have been switching to man, and he has had a couple of spectacular blocks in transition D, and has a few steals as well.

We wouldn't be in bad shape if we "had to" draft this guy.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

It's "Greene." Other than that, I agree.

The dude is a lot better that I gave him credit for. I agree with JW on this.

At one point the Orange were going with this line-up;

Jonny Flynn - 6' PG
Paul Harris - 6'5" SG
Donte' Greene - 6'11" SF
Arinze Onuaku - 6'9" PF
Rick Jackson - 6'9" C

It occured to me that this line-up is better sized than the Knicks and has better playmakers, shotblockers, and rebounders.

I'd trade the best five from a high level college team for JJ1, JJ2, Rose, Marbury and Fred Jones. Think Boeheim would make a deal?

                 FGM-A 3PM-A FTM-A OFF REB PF PTS
Donte Greene, F 7-17 3-6 4-6 3 8 4 21

Not a bad line. Could have shot for better percentage, but the whole second half the Orange basically coasted. I'd like to see how many assists, blocks and steals they credit him with.

If the NBA ever took away the defensive 3 second rule, I could see Boeheim's zone being very good in the league with the right line-up.

Wsit a minute my boy j flynn and paul harris from my home still have a lot to learn.

Donte'Green likes to block shots, but struggles against big beef boys.

Wait until they play the better teams in the big east for a true evaluation.

Devendorf getting injured is a blessing in disguise, he likes to ball hog and go one on one outside of ball movement.

One problem the cuse has is no bench and the big man AKINDAU playing defense for 40 min isn't gonna pan out to well against good bigeast teams.

Next season with Rautins and devendorf back the cuse will make some noise if donte green sticks around.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

No, don't know Modie. I'm not the John Wallace that took the 'Cuse to the Finals unfortunately. Still can't believe he never caught on with the Knicks. In the new, smaller NBA, I bet he could have played the 4 spot.

Buddinger is on FSN right now, looks gassed. I saw him play at the Garden his Freshman year. He stands out, but I don't see him being the two way player we need. If he can match the career of Gugliotta, hey, good for him.

Not going to help us much unless our we start next year with a shotblocking Center somehow that will clean up perimeter D mistakes.

Flynn will be a very good pg prospect next year. He's a natural pg. Good speed, see's the floor very well, and has good range on his jumper.

Donte Greene
Michael Beasley
Eric Gordon
OJ Mayo
Derrick Rose
DeAndre Jordan

it's pretty safe to say the Knicks will get a good player with a lot of potential in the draft.

Completely agree. I'm not sure there is a single super-duper-mega star in this draft, but there are plenty of top flight players. Blake Griffin deserves to be on that list, IMO.

somebody tell me why OJ Mayo is good. At this level he's still seems to be a ball hog.

his jumpshot is to pure for a guy his age. he's gonna be good in the NBA.

his problem is that he has a big ego, but it's not his fault ... it's everyone who hyped him, sports illustrated wrote a article about him being a dominate NBA player when he was in 7th grade.

i didn't add Griffin because i don't see the Knicks drafting a PF when they have Z-Ro and Lee.
