SAN ANTONIO - At shootaround this morning in San Antonio, Zach RandolphZach Randolph revealed the KnicksNew York Knicks are going back to the same starting lineup they came out of training camp with and began the season 2-1: Stephon MarburyStephon Marbury -Jamal Crawford-Quentin Richardson-Randolph-Eddy Curry.

The breakup of the Zach-Eddy tandem is over. This will be the fifth lineup in five games.

Now I’m giving us so-called experts another crack at predicting the Knicks’ final record, which stands at 8-22 and sinking fast.

Before the season tipped off, we gathered a group of the best minds in basketball journalism to give their Knicks pick. The victory totals ranged from 36 to 45.

This is our do-over, giving Ian Thomsen, the esteemed Sports Illustrated basketball columnist, another crack.

Thomsen’s controversial selection in SI’s preview issue, tabbing the Knicks for the playoffs at 45-37 and New Jersey for the lottery enraged Nets’ fans – both of them. At least Thomsen did not guarantee an NBA title, like Isiah did.

We’re still awaiting submissions from a couple panelists still poring over statistical data handicapping the remaining 50 games. We may add them later.

More importantly, we want to hear from you on the Knicks’ final tally.

MARC BERMAN (Knicks beat, NY Post): Record: 8-74. Comment: Viewing Garden schedule on plane ride to San Antonio, the only future winnable game when Harlem Globetrotters come in.

CHRIS BROUSSARD (basketball writer, ESPN.com): Record: 28-54. Comment: What Isiah has assembled is simply a horrible, horrible mix of individually talented players who have no concept of team basketball.

IAN THOMSEN (basketball columnist, Sports Illustrated): Record: 30-52. Comment: Oops!

BRIAN MAHONEY (Knicks beat, Associated Press): Record: 29-53. Comment: Highlight of miserable season comes in home finale when Knicks beat Boston, preventing 70 victories and Dolan announces Isiah will return.

MIKE DOUGHERTY (Knicks beat, Westchester Gannett): Record: 28-54. Comment: Next season Isiah will be given another worthless ultimatum.

EINAT BEN-AVI (NBA correspondent, Sport 5, Tel Aviv): Record: none. Comment: Knicks can’t be analyzed by stats or record or anything that has to do with pro-ball standards till they play with desire.

JORGE SIERRA (Editor, Hoopshype.com): Record: 26-56. Comment: Looking forward to that Knicks-Grizzlies game late in season. That could be funny.

SAM SMITH: (NBA columnist, Chicago Tribune): Record: 30-52. Comment: It looks awful now, but underachieving teams tend to get it together later in the season when pressure on contenders tightens.

SCOTT MANDEL (editor, sportsreporters.com): Record: 22-60. Comment: Somewhere Larry Brown is smiling.

JEFF LECHINER: (editor, Insidehoops.com): Record: 28-54. Comment: It’s been a disaster because the Knicks have been the least basketball-smart team in the league aside from David LeeDavid Lee , a team of streetballers who have no idea on how to cut or hit a cutter.

ADRIAN WOJNARSKI (basketball columnist, Yahoo.com): Record: 10-72. Comment: Two more wins this season because I know the teams won’t quit on its coach.

HOWARD BECK (Knicks beat, New York Times) Record: no submission: Comment: The only thing I’ll predict, to quote Mr. T in Rocky III, is PAAAIIIIN!

Being a homer, I'm going with 30 wins.

What you got?
Let's go Knicks. That's amare

I'll go with 28 wins. Although they stink, I have to believe that they can't be this bad for an entire season.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

The team has quit and he won't play the younger guys who at least have something to prove to get contracts down the line. 15 wins.

So we're 8-22, and we have 52 games left. So to win 28 games, or more, the Knicks need
to go W20-L32 the rest of the way or better. Without a shake up, I don't see that happening.
We're getting worse, not better. Have these guys learned nothing? They got a do over,
and blew it!

As we stand I can't see us winning more than a quarter of our remaining games, and that's 13.
That may even be generous.

My prediction: 21-61

Majority of the roster doesn't care any more...and Isiah won't play the ones that do.

17 wins. Keeping my fingers crossed.

21 wins.

Since nothing seems to be working...

Why not..

Starbury (the best PG in the league)
Crawford
Chandler/Balkman/ANYONE other than Q. It's hard to shoot 3s when there's a fork stuck in your back. I like the guy too..
Zach (a 20-10 beast)
Eddy (All star center)

How can we lose?

God, I remember right after the Marbury trade he came in and hit some passes we hadn't seen in years on this team. Now he can't set anyone up for some reason.

So utterly unbelievable.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
