At this point my only motivation to watch this game is rubbernecking.
I can resist gawking at your standard fender bender but a 13th car pileup with an overturned tractor trailor that was carrying live chickens, which was hit by a train into another 18 wheeler carrying gas... How can you not watch? Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

Maliks D on Tim Duncan might be the only reason to watch.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

I tune in thinking at some point during the pre game they'll announce a coaching change.
I can't for the life of me figure out why it hasn't happened. And the longer this goes on, the more curious it becomes. |

I like this
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/01/04/sports/basketball/04knicks.html?_r=1&ref=sports&oref=slogin So far, the answer is no. Thomas’s lack of faith can be seen in his ever-changing starting lineup (four in the past four games) and in his ever-evolving rotation. He gave the rookie Wilson Chandler an early look Wednesday and — despite a number of nervous moments — let him play almost 16 minutes. Chandler had two turnovers and missed 5 of 8 field-goal attempts, but he was one of the few Knicks to play aggressively. Chandler received his playing time at the expense of Quentin Richardson, who no longer looks like a reliable everyday player. Richardson went scoreless in 13 minutes and had 3 turnovers. Richardson has gone 9 for 36 (.250) over his past four games. “We’re a team that’s gone from easily being able to score 100 points to some nights barely getting 75,” Thomas said. “We’re not shooting the ball well. Quentin’s not shooting the ball well. So you got to find some people that can make shots — or in last night’s game, take the shot.” "Low Percentage Shots r US, these are our Knicks"

I'm in Vegas. Does anybody want me to put money on the Knicks tonight?
The Knicks paid for my dinner at Tao last night with their pathetic performance against the Kings. I love this game. Islefan go to Alex's at the Wynn and take the wife. SHouldnt Zach be suspended for throwing his headband at the ref for a game or so?

That place is nice. I didn't gamble at that particular one, but the Shark Reef is pretty cool.

Posted by Allanfan20: I've stayed at Mandalay a bunch of times but not the Hotel. It's nice. Went down to Fremont Street yesterday for the first time. I've been to Vegas a lot but never to old Vegas. It's interesting. Saw some woman get the beatdown for shoplifting. I also had a deep fried Twinkie. Scary but it was really good. One bite was enough though, just had to try it. Posted by King1: It's just been announced. He's suspended for tonight's game. Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Posted by King1: The NBA just announced that Zach Randolph will be suspended for tonight's game against the Spurs here in San Antonio for throwing his headband at a referee during Wednesday's loss to the Sacramento Kings. Randolph was ejected from the game with 1:47 left in the third quarter after he was whistled for a foul. He pulled off his headband and tossed it, which is a technical foul. Though it didn't appear Randolph aimed for referee Tony Brothers, it apparently hit him -- though it appeared to fall short -- and that led to the ejection. But it wasn't Brothers who tossed Randolph. It was another official, Mark Wunderlich, who saw the tossed headband and made the call. Stu Jackson, the NBA executive vice president of basketball operations, reviewed the play and determined it was an offense worth a one-game ban. This morning after the Knicks shoot-around, Randolph said he was just frustrated. When asked what had him frustrated, Randolph replied, "Everything. The way it was going, frustrating fouls. Losing.” Isiah Thomas had planned to go back to his original starting lineup for tonight's game against the Spurs, including the return of Stephon Marbury to the starting lineup. It is expected that David Lee will take Randolph's place at power forward. |

If I was Zeke I would start Malik Rose. Lee has only had double-double in 6 out of his last seven I think. After talking with Holfresh I think Zeke has decided to start Malik.
