i became a knick fan back when pat riley was coaching the knicks.

what i loved about the knicks were the fact that they were not the most talented team but played with alot of heart and passion and the "in your face" attitude that is lacking now. the bulls did them wrong but they every time Mj played the knicks he already knew that he had to score 50 points in order to beat them because the knicks would take his team out of the game for the most part. it was the ultimate battle. mental against physical

whether they won or lost the other team always knew that they had been in a fight.

i think xavier mcdaniel owns that copyright with the knicks

i don't know why i still love them i guess they are like family now

all those years as a fan and now i'm the anti-knick. life is crazy aint it.

Right now, there is NOTHING to love about this team... and there'll be even "less than zero" when Layden banishes Latrell for the wrong player.

Damned, if that doesn't say it all. It's like that uncle that you really wish wouldn't come to the family bbq's, but you still gotta show him love anyway!

I think that NY will eventually turn it around, but not until everybody from Dolan through Chaney is gone. I find it so hard to believe that Non was a defensive-minded player, yet can't install any toughness into this team.

Like I've said in the past... nothing good can happen until Layden is gone. Sorry...

X-Man was the best. 2 things stick out in my mind with the X-Man.

1. His forearm shiver to Laimbeer's back when he was antagonizing Ewing. X gave him a shot and asked him what's up and Laimbeer just backed away.

2. When he challenged the whole Bulls team to a fight and said all 12 of them can go in a locker room and he guarantees he will be the only one leaving that room standing.

yea prod, I remember those days, and if it were not for MJ the knicks might have won 2 championships. I also can't figure out why I still love the knicks, even with this current crop of mindless ownership and management...

I'll always remember Pippen cringing whenever xman stepped on the court. When X went to Jersey, I was at a game and saw him check into a game that chicago was winning. He stepped on the court, walked right up to Pipsqueak, SMILING, and just bodied him. Did I mention this was BEFORE play resumed?

Pippen just looked up at the rafters, like he was asking God for strength. Xman made Pippen his b*tch like none other.

pike tell us why you love the knicks. come on now. i know you can think of the reason why they are your favorite team

nykbocker the x-man was the person you made sure you took with you when you were going growing up and trying to date a girl from another neighborhood.

do you remember when Mj was doing what he wanted with starks i think it was and starks and mj were in each other's face and x man ran up and pushed starks out of mj's face and got in jordan's face. HAHAHAHA.

he must have got in mj's head for a second cause jordan got a steal a few plays later and went down and blew the wide open dunk. the garden must have turned upside down after that.

I remember Edmund sherod, he used to play ball in the silly crouch stance, I mean he brought the ball up court in that crouch with his back to the defender, he even defended in that crouch. There was a game where rick Mahorn set a killer pick on edmund and he ran into the pick, neck first....LOL..LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They carried him out on a stretcher, and I never saw him in a knicks uni again!!!LMAO!!!!!

Do you also remember Ron Cavenall.. the 7 foot center who would get the ball, back out for a turnaround jump brick..LOL...... The good old days!!!!

I love the Knicks because no matter how miserable my boss or my wife make me, the Knicks make me feel worst.

Pike - Maybe we can trade your wife and my wife to the Knicks for the number 9 pick. Hell, They could probably both play the point better than Howard Eisley. I know mines can rebound better than Othello Harrington
