Listening to Steph and Craw talk championship before the season made me along with everyone else out there I'm sure cringe with embarassment. And today, just listening to Isiah talk about winning a championship with this club one day makes me so angry & sick to my stomach. And yet even worse, listening to general Zeke talk about not being hasty in making a trade by the deadline next month, "...simply because this is the time where when you're down, you make mistakes and you can make mistakes that will cost you years," has got to be the biggest joke statement of all time.

WHAT THE HELL IS THE GUY SMOKING???? CRACK? DON'T MAKE A TRADE? SHIT, HE SHOULD BE THINKING ABOUT MAKING 10 TRADES!!!!!!!!!!!!! BLOW THIS UP ALREADY OR GET SOMEONE IN HERE WHO WILL!

KABOOM!!!!!!!!!

Seriously, name one guy on this team that if we unloaded him, it would cost us years. Man, I almost fell outta my seat when I read that this morning. The man's in pure denile - no one in their right mind thinks this team, as presently constructed, will one day miraculously turn the corner & compete for a championship. Raise you hand if you think that's true. Nobody? OK then.

I can't take it anymore fellas. I really can't. Once again, for the 1 billionth time, lets get some critical analysis going on this mess and what to do going forward -

1) Fire Isiah. Absolute must. 1st thing that needs to be done. I almost feel bad for the guy in a couple of ways to be honest. He at least had a vision in the beginning saying that he wanted to get younger and more athletic. Mission accomplished. He did do that. And he's in almost an impossible situation right now of trying to coach this mess along with also trying to find time to sit back and evaluate this thing properly as a general manager. You can't do both. Not when you have a terrible team where winning or losing your next game could mean your job. And you know what? IT SHOULD MEAN HIS JOB. Enough already. The team he's assembled here is awful. GOD AWFUL!!!! Doesn't fit well together-never did, never will, absolutely no heart save for just a few players where the rest of the players are too busy either deserting the team, sulking, and/or talking **** about their coach in the papers. The man's totally lost control of this team and he's in way over his head. He doesn't even show the courage to bench these losers who've shut down on him and/or bash him in the papers & play some of these young guys he's drafted. At least try and salvage your draft reputation Zeke, come on man. All that together with the off-season sexual harrassment fiasco - I can't think of one reason why he should stay. He's too close to this and I'm afraid he's no longer in the right frame of mind to evaluate this thing fairly and be objective. He's gonna defend this thing until the day he's fired and that day should've been yesterday.

2) Trade Eddy Curry. Absolute stiff. Even tonight against Sacramento, he had a decent offensive game (a lot of that had to do with Brad Miller & co. playing him like pussies so don't be fooled by the lastest stat line). But did he do anything else to affect the game in a positive way? Did he stop anyone from scoring? Did he protect the tin? Did he even grab a rebound? And he's got the balls to question Isiah's decision to bench him recently and talk about Isiah's "job security being in the backs of some player's minds"???? Is he kidding me?!?! We've gotta pray we get a new GM soon that will dump this waste of space on some team that needs a big man and might be naive enough to think the young Curry still has untapped potential. I say Curry to the Mavs for the expiring contracts of Jerry Stackhouse & DeSagana Diop, Nick Fazekas (a 2nd round big man that can shoot the ball and has some promise) and Dallas' first rounders the next two years (both projected to be low 1st rounders). Compared to what we gave up for this waste that's nothing but about the best we can hope for. You pull the trigger on a trade like this, start playing Randolph Morris 30+ minutes the rest of the way and don't look back. Funny thing is, I betchya the Mavs wouldn't even make this deal.

3) Trade Crawford. Always a well-spoken kid and one of the few who's actually man enough to come out and take some blame here, but I can't stand watching this guy have one great game, then 10 more where he goes 7-30 from the field, refuses to take the ball to the rim, goes to the line like 2 times a game and commits 7 TOs a night. So much talent and not a damn clue what to do with it. Similar to Curry, you dangle him out there at the deadline and hope their might be a taker. Utah would've made some sense but they just got Korver. How 'bout Craw to Golden State straight up for Adonal Foyle and their 2008 1st rounder and high 2nd rounder. Or broaden the deal by including Lee along with any combination of Morris, Collins, Nate, Balkman or Chandler and try and get Mullin to kick in guys like Biedrins, Pietrus and/or Belinelli (highly unlikely I know, I know). Or maybe Craw to the Lakers for Kwame Brown and the Lakers '08 first rounder. Both the Warriors and Lakers are only a couple of games out of 1st place in the Pacific Division and might view Crawford as a still relatively young combo. guard who would make a nice scoring sidekick or backup for their primary stars (Baron Davis or Kobe Bryant).

4) Trade David Lee. I know this isn't the most popular idea but if we're ever gonna blow this up, AS WE SHOULD - 100%, why keep one of the NBA's best complimentary players here? To compliment what exactly? What would the point be if we can fetch something decent for him and further improve the team's future. I say Lee & Collins to the Hornets for Hilton Armstrong and N.O.'s '08 1st rounder. I liked the idea of Lee and Morris to the Kings for Francisco Garcia (who played well on both sides of the ball tonight) and Justin Williams at one point, but that was when I though we still might be able to compete here and salvage the season. Obviously that's no longer the case. I'd obviously take more if we could get it, but the Armstrong deal would be just fine with me.

------------------------------------------------------------------

I'd start with this, then if any of these guys are still around, I'd play Nate 35+ minutes at the point, backed up by Mardy, and also Chandler and Morris big minutes - Let's see what we have with these guys already (I'm glad Chandler got some time tonight at least, I was shocked and I bet he was too). I don't even care if we win another game (I wouldn't even expect or want wins at this point - I want to see these young guys use the 40 someodd games left after the deadline to develop and get their feet wet and the Knicks to secure the best possible draft position come June - the #1 pick would be great, but we absolutely need to be in the top 4).

I'm not even gonna waste time talking about the rest of this roster - Steph, Q, Jeffries, Turd, Malik - we need a new GM to convince Dolan that these useless pieces should be bought out ASAP for the betterment of the team's future.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Well that's my immediate vision to flip this team. How would the future look if we suddenly looked like this by the end of next summer's draft:

*Our own '08 1st rounder - Beasley, Rose, Jordan or Eric Gordon (good chance that all 4 of these guys turn out to be stars and guys to build around)
*Possible incoming expiring contracts - Stackhouse, Diop, Kwame Brown
*Fred Jones comes off the cap
*A more manageable contract in Adonal Foyle than Crawford
*Possible '08 1st rounder from Dallas (DJ Augustin??)
*Possible '09 1st rounder from Dallas (Brandon Rush if he stays in school or package in a deal to move up in '08 to get Darren Collison??)
*Possible '08 1st rounder from GS (package to move up in draft to get Darren Collison??)
*Possible '08 2nd rounder from GS (Josh Shipp, Richard Roby??)
*Possible '08 1st rounder from New Orleans (package to move up or pick Kevin Love, Bryce Taylor??)
*Possible '08 1st rounder from Lakers (????)
*Zach Randolph
*Nate Robinson
*Renaldo Balkman
*Wilson Chandler
*Mardy Collins
*Randolph Morris
*Nick Fazekas?
*Hilton Armstrong?

I would have to agree with you. I think we should focus on character more than talent. I finally realize what my football coach told me when he said some of the best players don't win because they don't have the drive to win or something along those lines. I don't want any talented player that is already in the NBA with any type of character problem. When we got Eddy they said he was soft and he still is if not worse. When we got Marbury and Zach they said they were cancers and me first type players and they still are. They said Crawford was not a smart player and he did not fully understand how to play the game and nothing has changed. From this point on when a new player don's a New York Knick jersey he has to have his **** together. NO MORE PROJECT PLAYERS. WE GOT A BUNCH OF DUMB BASTARDS ON OUR TEAM. Draft talented players that have played the college game, preferably juniors and seniors (unless Beasley or Rose). If Wilson Chandler has problems with getting focused on the court...trade his ass. If Nate still does not know the NBA rules and regulations after 3 yrs...trade his ass. I had enough. Larry Brown was a prophet! Blow it up!!!

I admit I laughed when I read the ''KABOOM'' part... then I realized I was screaming the same thing while watching the game yesterday night.

They should blow it up, I mean, just stop the bleeding. It's getting ridiculous to get desrtoyed by the freaking kings who are a sinking ship.

Even bad teams blow us up now. Imagine in a month ? Ball boos will dunk on curry in practice.

Relax. He's just making excuses because Dolan probably told him to make it work with what he had. Dolan's tired of buying
out contracts. I just don't understand how Isiah still has a job. Really what more can he do to get fired?

His yesterday talking session was the most powerful push to get himself fired from executive I ever seen.
But Isiah had no idea with whom he is dealing. Now he knows what Dolan is about.
Did you get you wish Isiah? Now enjoy it...
