I believe we're something like 5-8.

Say what you want about Steph but words can't express his value to this team.

Just out of curiousity, do you happen to know his record since going AWOL?

Some of the games overlap in which he started and went AWOL. Going by his ESPN Game Log it appaears we're 6-16 since that incident, which once again shows how Powerul and Important he is to our team.

In other words, our team was built around a nutcase psycho.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

If you look at it that way we win 38% with Marbs and only 19% without him. Ouch.

This is encouraging, it means if he comes back soon we can match Larry's January 6 game win streak and stay on course for 23 wins. Weeeee.

Winning for this team is random event and it is nothing to do with Steph.

Marbury was never worthy of being built around, let me say that first. But Isiah never built around Marbury reguardless. If you look at all the pieces Isiah acquired since adding Marbury. I would like to know one complimentary piece that he added that complimented Marbury's game?

Isiah built unbalanced rosters with overrated talent. Thats not Marbury's fault. Marbury's fault is all the other things. Like not being a team player, going Awol, not being a leader, lack of professionalism & character etc... These things combined make us the mess we are today.

You have a point in that we didn't really add complimentary pieces for Marbury. In fact, complimentary pieces were often traded away. However, I do feel that Isiah genuinely thought that adding these pieces around his centerpiece, Marbury, would make us a contender. At least that's what he indicated, even if logic would question how these moves achieved that.

Marbury only improves this team because as bad as he is the players that take his minutes when he's out are even worse. It's more an indictment of our bench then anything else.
