Coming to the Knicks via Trade of Sprewell and a swap of picks, I believe the Allan Houston deal that is included in 5 trades that should happen, might also be realized on draft night. I believe Layden is going to try to totally re-tool the knicks. If both scenarios come into fruition The Knicks line-up would resemble this:

Starters
C Kurt Thomas
PF Eddie Griffen
SF Jerome Williams
SG Cuttino Mobley
PG T.J. Ford

Bench
Michael Doleac
Othella Harrington
Shandan Anderson
Clarence Weatherspoon
Frank Williams
Charlie Ward
Howard Eisley

While this team is no way near a championship, I believe we could see some exciting basketball come next season, also with lesser contracts maybe we can somehow get a veteran star in the off-season.

Not to thrilled.i would like the knicks to trade Thomas,Williams,Ward,#31 for Walker.i wouldn't want to see Thomas at center again. So with the #4,pick Kaman.

Kaman-Doleac
Dice-Harrington
Walker-Weatherspoon
Houston-Anderson
Milos-Eisley-Williams

that line up would be worse than last year. allan houston, while overpaid, is a legit SG. spree is a top defender and can still score, despite being undersized. Jerome Williams can not score from the 3 and definitely can not shoot like spree (9-9 from three), and is not as good of a defender, period, against wing players.

Walker is just not a go to guy.Only at those days he's feeling it,like spree. But Walker is more a sf than spree. Our go two guys would be Dice and Houston.Walker would fit well in that line up.

i wouldn't say he is horrible. i would just say he needs to stop taking so many 3's and stop letting kenyon martin take his mind out of the game

I see JEROME Williams play a lot in Toronto and he would bring energy and hustle be a crowd favorite. A.Walker would be perfect on the knicks, first of all he wouldn't be allowed to play the same under Chaney than how he played under Celtics head coach. I would get a center in draft and drop WARD LIKE A BAD HABIT. Kurt Thomas would be a goner too HIS ACT IS OLD as Mewell.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Antoine Walker should be a Knick. Walker shoots threes because he is instructed to do so by his coach. You can't dispute Walkers handle and passing ability. Getting Walker is like Sprewell getting a growth spurt.

All this TJ Ford stuff is nutz.
I think it's a smoke screen. Why would they trade up to get TJ Ford when Chris Bosh would be available?

Chris Bosh is a guy that will be a freaky type player in about 3 years.

If Layden does make that trade to Toronto they better see if they can still hold on to their pick, cause if the Knicks are gonna give Sprewell up for fillers and a pick, Toronto better be happy with that.

I'm sure some of you will be glad to hear this but, I'd rather get back to work than discuss T.J. Ford... especially the nightmarish possibility of bringing him to the Knicks... even worse than that, the scary thought of actually trading up to get him!!
