The only problem is that everyone says tank but you could very well end up like a Memphis with a crappy record and a MIA lottery pick.

And after every one of those 3-4 games, Knicks fans will be told how close they are from turning the corner.

Of course after all of the other games, Knicks fans will be told how it's all their fault.

It's not a job - it is a sentence. 4 years to life in MSG.

Exactly. Isiah is lucky to be employed by an owner who believes in the one-week-a-win policy. Just average a win a week, and all is rosy.

At least we should be in position for a top-3 pick. If we trade Curry over the summer, we might start moving in the right direction.

Knicks fans? Or Isiah? I don't really hear or see many or even any optimistic Knicks fans like that, anymore. I think we are all in aggreeance that was are horrible.

I'd keep Isiah in there if I were Dolan too. This group is done until they decide that they want to win some games as players anyway.

We desperately need a "savior" type player. There's no other way for us to get one but the draft. The best player you're going to get by trading is a guy like Marbury or ZBo. Until we have homegrown players that you can trade value for value, we're not getting 'Melo or someone like that.

What happens if we put Herb in there? How long until the "smoke Herb" chants start at MSG? 5 games?
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Wallace, we've been taking the "Lets find the savior approach" since Isiah got here. Starting with Marbury, then Crawford, then the return of Houston, then Curry and the "3 Rookies" then Francis then Z-Bo. The savior thing just isn't working. We need to destroy the crap out of this team and just make a new one. There's just no other way right now.

What happens when we attempt to find savior after savior after savior and nothing works? Your 2007-2008 New York Knicks, I mean, the PRODUCT.

its not like we are trying to tank...it happens naturally for us when we put out our version of maximum effort.

I think this might be the last month that I actually root against this team.

I think if we end the month with 33 losses on the season, we are well on our way to a good draft pick. There is no possible way that we could make the playoffs at that point, so we would be at least in the lottery. It is very likely that we would be very high in the lottery no matter how well we perform for the rest of the season. Draft picks involve a lot of luck anyway, so as long as we get close to the top, I will be fine with it.

Also, if Isiah isn't gone at 33 loses he is pretty much here to stay.

Therefore, some point before the trading deadline I would like to see this team start playing better for next year. I think you probably just buy out marbury around the trading deadline. Then you make a deal for Artest. Ideally, this deal would only include Curry.

At that point, we would have a team of
Zach
Lee
Artest
nate
crawful
With JJ1, JJ2, Balkman, Chandler, mardy etc coming off the bench.

I think at that point we can either draft a big man project or a point guard, whichever value falls to our draft position. A project big man would fit nice with Zach and Lee. Alternatively, a pg like Rose would do as well, and he would be shielded from criticism by crawful. So, I don't think we will be in all that bad of a position as long as Curry goes for Artest, and we end the month with 33 or more losses.

Seriously they screwed me on gamepicker again. This should've been a gimme. Jerks.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Who cares, would you rather be guaranteed the 9th pick or have a very good chance at the top 3?
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

The Knicks Organization is an embarassment to the world of sports. I a pretty sure that there are low market cricket teams that are run better than the Knicks organization. Watching the Knicks is almost like having Bush in office...tired of their stupidity and begging for change.
by the end of this month we could be 11-33
