Knicks coach Isiah Thomas also has tinkered with his lineup, but the results haven't shown yet. Randolph was back in the lineup and Eddy Curry started on the bench Sunday, a game after they had the opposite roles in a loss at Orlando on Wednesday.

Asked what he's seen from his changes, Thomas said: ''Well, we're not winning. That's the only reason why you do it, is you try to win basketball games.''

Thomas won't say the Randolph-Curry tandem is done for good, but it hasn't clicked thus far. They played a good portion of the second quarter together and got plenty of good shots. They just didn't make many of them, combining to go 5-of-20 in the first half.

''I'm definitely not embracing it but what can I do?'' Curry said of the reserve role. ''I have to use the minutes that I have and try to be productive and if I don't play a lot of minutes, I don't play a lot of minutes. There's nothing I can do. I can't sub myself into the game. I'm not going to go to him crying and whining about playing and starting and all that stuff.

''It definitely bugs me,'' Curry added. ''I think I'm a starter in this league, but I guess not on this team.''

Yeah, what can u do? thats easy , work on your game. Lee worked on his free throw shooting and guess what - u haven't. Get better at rebounding- it just takes will power and doing some drills. Work on footwork more to be able to establish position more efficiently. Work on passing the ball out of double teams or better yet , after like 20 years in the NBA why dont u just keep asking "what can i do?" like a big retarded child. . .
Everything you have ever wanted is on the other side of fear- George Adair

entitlement players. everybody on this team thinks they deserve to start and play 35+ minutes despite the fact that we've seen no real growth in many players on this roster.

btw, if curry opts out and leaves for nothing, we would've traded away 2 lotto picks for absolutely nothing. and if marbs gets bought out, that would make potentially 4 lotto picks for 2 extra home ass whoopings from the nets in 2004.

isiah's legacy will live forever.

Sadly nearly everyone Isiah has brought in has this same attitude. It just means one thing: Fire Isiah, tear down his mess........ there is no other way (IMO, of course).

Nuff to make a grown man cry.

Firing Isiah is no longer just one persons opinion anymore.......something needs to be done about this team.......if dolan won't fire him fine......isiah has to make a ****ing trade already and dump the obvious losers. Its so obvious even to isiah but no he's pulling a larry brown....get rid of Curry 3 weeks ago.

Can anyone think of any realistic trades to get rid of Curry? the best I could come up with Is Eddy Curry to Atlantla for Speedy Claxton and Lorenzen Wright. Is that realistic?

I dunno.....who needs a low post scorer? Atlana definately sticks out. They could use Curry......but the Knicks gotta get more than just lorenzen and speedy......though at this point I just want to see him gone. Let him dominate in atlanta.....just get away from us in ny.
