I think it is a valid question looking at what is going on with the Knicks. We also have Bobcats who are playing in empty building. May be fans are just nice addition to the business but not necessary required.
NBA team can be great without fans
NBA team can be OK without fan base
NBA team is irrelevant without fans
NBA team should be removed from the league is there are no fans left
