Q tosses an airball in the deciding run of the game and Gus exclaims, "the Knicks need a three who can score."

I noticed at the same time clouds opened above the garden and a ray of light shined down.

...meanwhile Chandler has not gotten any run this year. No SF's that are great in the draft... who's out there? Artest would be better at the two. An immediate solution is playing two scoring guards and Mardy at the point. Again, why he sits I do not know. I don't see a magical wing out there that the Knicks would be able to trade for. Spree? Maybe he can bring some flowers and candy to Dolan.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Gus may be over the top sometimes, but at least he's honest. He's one of the few voices over there that doesn't care about Dolan's paranoia, although Breen is starting to come around.

Chandler will be a very serviceable player, IMO. He's just not being used. He could be very effective at the 3 and would space the floor better than Q who shoots what, 4%? Q's defense is also vastly overrated so there wouldn't be much of a drop off there. He's also not caught up in all this "fear of playing at home" nonsense.

If the Knicks were really committed to improving and seeing what they have, they'd split the minutes with Chandler/Balk at the 3 depending on the opponent. They could even throw Jeffries in at the 3 and put Chandler at the 2 in stretches considering he'd probably be just as effective at playing matador defense as Jamal is.

Isiah has to justify taking on Qs uninsured contract, giving Jefferies a big full MLE and not cutting Fred Jones for Nichols or PERHAPS Allan Houston. It's all about that ego baby.

its not like our record could be worse if we started Chandler at the 3.

Why not just sit Q and say his back isn't better.

And I agree, his defense isn't that great.

Once Isiah sits Q, and EDDY, and you have Marbury AWOL... thats pretty much all his major moves backfiring. It would be against MSG policy for the coach to diss the GM so publically.

Thats why it aint happened yet.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

You guys know my opinion on this matter.
This is the same guy who decided to throw up air balls at the start of the game instead of working it in to Curry. Granted Eddy is a pinwheel on defense but if you are not using him correctly on offense why is he even on the floor?

I don't understand how any one can get 31 minutes per game when shooting 32% from the field while taking 4 3's a game (only making 30.7%) and only going to the line 1 time per game (making only 51.7%). It defies all logic and human thought process.

It is mindboggling, i said it 2 years ago that this guy would ruin the team and everyone said no way we will become athletic and a better team.

Isiah is not a human... he is supper-human mutant. Half-GM, half coach; half snake, half donkey.
He was created by crazy professor using the body of Isiah Tomas The player.
